it will be really nice if Von Miller or Elvis Dumerville or both rip Brady's head right off his neck

Let's just hold off on praising Holmes for staying out of trouble until we get through this offseason, k?

And... you do know that cornerback is a skill position, right? Just making sure.

    2010 Jets team ranks

    Total Defense- #3
    Rushing offense- #4

you could perhaps have looked that up before telling the poster they were wrong.

They were #1 in the league in both categories in 2009.

Question: Then how did those parts of the team manage to go 6-for-6 in playing well in all the playoff games (which Mark played well in all of them) and yet they are much more spotty in the 48 regular season games ???

    The lockerroom cancer is worse.

    So did Braylone Edwards.

    When he doesn't bench himself.

If he's an asshole, he didn't grow.

They did it this year and gave him 3 primadonnas.

He was given $45 MM to shut his mouth and catch the ball, whether it was 50 balls or 100 catches. He wasn't playing for a contract and he STILL acted like a spoiled brat.

[uote]- Some of what Holmes may have been concerned about, likely was, concerned Schotty. Many/most fans here hated Schotty. Feeling as you do about Schotty, how would you have liked to be Holmes this past season (in other words, stop for once only thinking in terms of the widespread manlove for Sanchez around here)?[/quote]

He got his money, STFU and play.

    Yup....

When was the last time the #1 offensive weapon on a team quit on the team in a close game in the last 4 minutes ????

Let's hope for a couple of positive marijuana tests.

    It's all relative.

How spotty did Sanchez play over those 48 regular season games?

When the Jets get the running game going, the defense playing at a high level, and Sanchez managing the game and eliminating turnovers, you get the results like the Jets got in those 6 playoff games.

like last year in the title game? and in the NE win we got it going offensively through the air- the 3rd and 6 from midfield where Sanchez scrambled then redirected Braylon and completed a strike down the sideline to set up the first TD was maybe the biggest play of the game on O- if not the pass and run w/ Cotch and if not that play the perfect throw to Santonio to give us a 10 pt lead in the 4th.
