Buccaneers | Team may be interested in Bollinger Fri, 11 Aug 2006 06:40:57 -0700 Rich Cimini, of the New York Daily News, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have some interest in New York Jets backup QB Brooks Bollinger. Bollinger has a fan in Buccaneers quarterbacks coach Paul Hackett, the Jets' former offensive coordinator.
Brooksie for a second round pick. Dont think so but I have to say why not ask. On another note Im so fired up for tonights game I cant wait for this day at work to end and get home and let the drinking begin as the season begins.
rofl you literal ass. i meant less as in lower draft pick, but you knew that. explains the wink. either way we got football to watch! haha man i cant wait to leave work.
I was suppose to have my whole JETS SEASON friends over for the first game as we usually do, but they all bailed on me last night. OH WELL more beer in the fridge for me. LET THIS DAY END ALREADY. IM SO PUMPED UP.
I don't like this. Until Pennington can prove he can take a hit, and I mean for the whole season, we need to keep 4 QB's. Clemens doesn't even count, he'll never see a regular season snap this year. We'de be giving him away for nothing. I don't see how that helps the team at all.
What about Brooks and a 4th rounder for Pittman? cant wait to get the feedback on this one...everybody will be against me
I agree completely. Right now we have 3 1/2 QB's... Penny is one good sack away from another visit to the surgeon's office. For the little compensation you'll get for Bolly, keep him around as a cheap insurance policy until January.
What are you all basing your negative judgment of Bollinger on? Last years performance? The only QB on the NYJets to play multiple games without suffering devistating injury and still score TDs? I will go on record in saying that I would take Brooks Bollinger over Patric Ramsey any day of the week. In fact, I would take Brooks over many 2nd string QBs in this league today.
