Great job Woody! You've sent us back to the 80's! Giants won the very 1st Playoff game at Met Life. A stadium we share with the G men. The more things change, the more they stay the same. The next thing we"ll hear is how The new place should be called Giant's Stadum. How in the hell do you go in to business with your competition?

The last Jets home playoff win was the same scenario.

When the options for your own place are limited, that's when. This is a classic case of the fans drumming up a rivalry more than anything. I don't think the two organizations could give a shit about each other. Really man? The fact that they have won the hardware gives Giant fans a lot more ammunition than "First playoff win in the new stadium." Stay off facebook for a few days if it gets under your skin that much.

So if the Jets were in the NFC East they'd be in the playoffs?

Guess what? The Giants were 4-0 in your division this year.

just looked at the records since 2009

this is the first time the midgets have even sniffed the playoffs since that season. On the other hand, the Jets have played in six postseason games and won FOUR of them.

but as long as SOJFs are still alive, this is the kind of thread they start

No we didn't. We lost to the Patriots on a Saturday Night & the Giants beat the 49ers the next day (Sunday) for the first win at Giants Stadium.

Who cares, this shit means nothing. Us Jets fans dont sit how and bag on Giants fans for the way the Giants closed out Giant stadium, and how the Jets closed out Giants stadium.

This stuff is irrelevant. If the Giants win a Super Bowl ill be jealous, but a playoff win? I can care less.

Only Jet fans would compare 2 consecutive years, as if history began and ended there. I could compare your team against the COLTS in the last two years and you'd look better. That wouldn't do much to fool anybody about the results long term.

You know its sad when trying to end the debate means pointing at two LOSSES.

Hey Sg not an SOJF here! Since 97 this team as been the golden years for most Jet fans. My problem here is Woody and how quickly he sold it's fanbase down the river after his West Side deal was sunk by Dolan's money. The media will play this angle of New York being an Giant's town.

Well we are talking about the new stadium and Rex Ryan. Doesn't make much sense to go back farther? than when Rex Ryan started coaching the Jets right?

It would be like if I was said the knicks have been better than so and so team since Amare came here. Why would we talk about before Amare, it has no relevance.

Agreed. Out of my Jets fans, nobody has a problem with the Giants, just their fans. There is no rivalry either. They play each other once every 4 years, not like Mets/Yankees which is multiple times a year, every year. The yankees and mets also met in the world series, something the Giants and Jets have never done.

Let him have his joy for the week. They earned it. It'll quickly turn sour when they lose in Lambeau by 14+.

    Dear Joe Walton

    You are hilarious!

Thanks for living up to our expectations of self-entitled Giants fans whose
self-worth is determined by who they root for. Its a funny read.

At this time of depression and doubt that Jets' fans are experiencing,
(which I'm sure you can't remember experiencing as a Giants fan, since it was so long ago for you - almost as far back as mid-season!), your uniformed, childish posts in a Jets' forum are always good for a big laugh.

    Keep 'em coming.

    I'm not sure I understand.

Is Joe Walton a JETS fan or is he a Giants fan wearing JETS Clothing?
