getting blown out in his only playoff appearance in 3 seasons and already thrown a pick.

Mark sanchez is 4-2 in playoff games. Best record for any 3rd season QB.

and this is stafford WITH megatron. all the kid does is chuck up the ball and hope that johnson can come down with it. if we had someone like that on our team, damn...

At this point, Stafford is way better than Sanchez. It's not even close. Still have hope for mark, though.

So, we are going to pretend Sanchez, even with Johnson, can EVER throw for 5000 yards and 41 td.

We are also going to pretend that Stafford could not have won 4 games with this team the last 2 years in the playoffs, or for that matter most NFL caliber qb's could have done that..

Sanchez apologists are hilarious. Completely delusional in their admiration for this crappy qb..

No, stats are pretty meaningful. 56.7% completion rates mean something. 56.7% completion rate when your yards per attempt are pitiful mean even more. 26 turnovers mean more than negative fantasy points.

You want to not give Stafford respect, thats up to you. Pretending he is not a million times better than Sanchez is just being foolish.

LOL I hope this is a joke. I bet you were one of those people that was crying why Sanchez can't complete a pass beyond 7 yards is because he has no running game help. Detroit has absolutely NO running game at all and NO DEFENSE. If the Sanchez had Lions' D and Lions' RBs, Jets pick top 1010 in draft in all 3states years he has been here.

Put someone like Stafford in this team, and this team gets 12 wins a season minimum. ::sigh:: I can't believe I responded to this post not even a mentally handicapped person wouldn't make. Ah well...

Stats are meaningful when they support your point right?

How many games has Mark Sanchez won in his career when the defense allows 45 points? Without looking it up, I already know the answer.

People who said Stafford was better than Sanchez heading into this season were out of their minds. Sanchez's durability and playoff success overrode any Stafford stats. But even with Calvin Johnson, it's hard to put Sanchez over Stafford at this moment.

Not talking about stats, stafford is really good, he did not win because of the defense
Although his first int today was pretty stupid

Stafford has been better this season but he would be a different quarterback if he couldn't just throw the ball up and have Calvin Johnson catch it.

like I said in the game thread, I wish the Jets had a "megatron." At times it does look like all Stafford does is throw it up to 81 but he does look sharper and more confident in the pocket than Sanchez.
