Or Norv Turner of this year, the guy doesn't deserve to have a job but saves his butt at the end of the season.

I'll see your $100 and offer to drive him to and from the airport myself.

Wait until the coaching job in Jax is wrapped up. If he doesn't get I think everyone's wish comes just a bit late.

They are extending a professional courtesy not getting rid of him while he is interviewing for other jobs.

Jet fan and Gator here. We were 102nd in offense in 2011 - 102!!
Believe me, Schotty's potential hire wasn't exactly inspiring confidence here either.

Charlie Weis was respected by the fan base. I can't think of another offensive coordinator in Jet's history who was liked after his first few seasons. That's what happens when the offense is a perpetually under-performing and bland unit.

From what I hear, Jacksonville has a hardon for Jay Gruden... and sadly he is a good fit for that team. So uhh.. hopefully they mess up and pick Schotty instead.

brian schottenheimer is an excellent o.c. and would be a huge assett for the jacksonville jaguars.his hire would be a huge boost for an orginazation looking to take the next step with a young qb.

just in case any jaguar f.o. people read this board

If Schotty is back, I would only watch the JETS if they brought back Braylon. Otherwise, it's nothing but Hockey for me.

Too bad Penn State wanted O'Brien and not Schitty but that tells it all really...

I can't remember the board giving up on Schotty until late 2010, actually. I was skeptical about him at the end of 2008 and I was calling for his head at the end of 2009. He's a joke. Wake up.

He did that on the Safety during the Giants game.

Calls a dropback pass, and in the interview says 'Mark has to have a better feel for where he is on the field...'

    WHO CALLED THE EFFING PLAY?

Guy was the QB coach when Brees got benched. (and when he was CPOY), Was Bad with Pennington. Mismanged the offense when Favre got hurt. Now with Sanchez.

I don't see how this guy has any defenders except the perpetually deranged or perpetually argumentative.
