Wow...watching SNY now. Bart Scott is the only one who has said anything even remotely worth listening to. "We're an 8-8 team, and we have to own that...Other teams are getting better and we took a step back...You shouldn't talk unless you win something..." Last guy I thought I'd hear that from.
Who cares if they talk or not. It's great when your winning and bad when your losing. It's really not as big of deal as people make it out to be.
Agree that it probably doesn't matter on game day; it is just really grating, really annoying, to hear how great we are when the team is mediocre.

It will stop until next preseason. Rex will guarantee the super bowl, and that the Jets are the best team in the league. It won't stop. That is the personality of Rex, and its not going to change with one losing season.
Rex came here and took a rather poor team and gave them the confidence they needed to go out and win. When you pump up a poor team, even if they aren't very good, they will begin to believe that they really are THAT good and begin to play like it. For two years the underdog, us-against-the-world attitude proved to work for the Jets. However Rex hasn't showed the ability to switch from the hunter to the hunted and still succeed.
did anyone catch the Raiders coach Hue Jackson at the post game press conference today? He flat out said he was pissed!! Pissed off at HIS TEAM!! He took some of the blame, but when it came down to it, the players have to go out on the field and make plays to win games. His team didn't do that and he was pissed off at them. Rex is still telling people how good his players are, when everyone around him knows they suck!! Next season will be a watershed season for Rex as well.
