I will be able to focus on shit like this when I hear definitively that Shotty isn't coming back first.
The piece of shit that is Schotty should get canned and maybe the guys on offense can get excited again
Plax is shot. The man can't out run any DB's. Also I believe the Jets are looking to go younger in 2012.
We should get Wes Welker. In all seriousness, there was a story on NFL.com last week that had Colston saying that New Orleans wouldn't get a hometown discount, so he can be had for the right price.
I doubt it. He looked slow this year and was clearly not the same guy as he was before prison. As for available wr's, I would love: 1. Bowe - headcase, but is a hell of a wr 2. Jackson - I know he is going to be like Tone, but the guy is freaking good. Give even a shitty qb like Sanchez Jackson and he will have to throw the ball to him 3. Colston - would be one, but I doubt he leaves the Saints. 4. Wayne - might be a big on the older side, but if Peyton is here, might as well give him his favorite wr. 5. Amendola - good wr, good returner, solid player. Coming off an injury though.
Bowe will probably be franchised. Colston would probably be too but with Graham's emergence and Meachem, Moore, and Henderson, they might be willing to let him go. Personally I think Plax was a good signing, but I feel like we need to get more explosive and younger at WR so I wouldn't be disappointed if they didn't bring him back. Jackson would be perfect since this team desperately needs a deep threat but I doubt the Eagles let him get away despite his problems.
Hopefully cheddar Bob only kept 17 warm for Braylon to come back. Plax was a dog. I suppose it was a worthwhile gamble given the price but turned out to be a swing and a miss
I doubt he'll want to come back and play with Sanchez again, so unless the Jets throw more money at him than other teams he's gone.
Plax & Holmes couldn't separate from CBs this season & didn't seem to care, too many good recievers out there, like to make a run at Closten...
What I want to happen: Don't resign Plax, Sign Braylon, cut or trade Holmes, and bring in Colston or Wayne. What I think will happen: Don't resign Plax, Sign Braylon. I feel like Holmes is the problem with the WR's, and he needs to be a goner. He probably won't be, but I hope so. Bowe is a head case, and would be contradicting yourself by getting rid of Holmes, but bringing in Bowe.
