This just goes to show what a team game football is and it's not all the quarterback's fault. Oh lemme guess, Matt Flynn is beast mode...sign him.

I agree. This was a problem all season, as well as years past. You need to spread the field if you want to score a lot of points in this league. Just look at the Pats. This is what they do every year, and what Schotts hasn't fucking figured out how to do yet. He's outstayed his welcome.

We will go no where with Sanchez!. Look at him in the post game conference. He acted like it was no big deal - we'll just fix it all in the offseason. Are you kidding me! Maybe you can start Sanchez but lifting some serious weights. You look like a skinny weazel in your black t shirt in your post game conference. What a lightweight!! No upper body whatsoever!

No, Schotty gave up that drive. Schotty also fumbled on special teams 15 times this year.

    I agree with this strategy.

Schotty's a dead man walking right now.

Sanchez does not live in Morristown, incidentally.

Have to think Shotty is gone (please), but Rex is on the hook for a lot of this collapse.

Sorry I quoted the wrong post above.

    Sanchez doesn't live in Morristown.

I buy beer for relatives all the time and I don't even drink.

I agree when you say this game is on Sanchez, because he threw 3 picks on horrible balls and horrible mistakes.
Schotty is also at fault when he failed with Pennington, Favre, and now Sanchez.

Um...where's this "proof?" Sounds to me like it's just your bullshit opinion. "Oh, he probably went out partying." Seriously? Stuff it.

Dude if you allow a 21 play 12+min drive that is an issue. There is plenty of blame to go around. You are angry and I understand that but don't make stupid assumptions about what Sanchez did last night. Stay classy bro!

Are you really blaming this on the defense? Sanchez alone gave up more points to the defense then those 7 points. You can thank the defense for only giving up 9 points off 3 turnovers by Sanchez who each time put them in great field position.

Sanchez's play was a joke... Schotty isn't even close to blame compared to the QB.

Sanchez is a perfect case of a quarterback who's confidence is completely shot. However while I know I am brand new to this board, I think mechanically it's two very simple things: 1 - he needs to stop moving backwards because it lowers his release point and thus he gets intercepted by defensive tackles and 2 - the Jets need to get back to what they were doing in his first year which is rolling the pocket and bringing the sideline to him thus shortening his throws.

In the end, from a team standpoint the total lack of a running game killed him. No quarterback can be successful without play-action and no one is buying play-action when you can't establish anything between the tackles.

They simply put too much on the kid in year 3. I think he may be shot emotionally and have zero confidence left. However, I do think they will bring him back next year, but he needs a dedicated tutor to mentor him, be it a quarterback coach or an older backup (however I do not have the answer as to who either of those people could / should be.)
