It's an old adage, I know, but it starts and ends with the O line. Sanchez's faults can all be helped immensely with a solid line. I still can't figure out why 60+ pass plays were called against the Giants. Has Ryan or Schotty addressed this issue directly? I haven't seen or read anything about this.
I don't understand this either, its like everyone completely ignored 68 pass calls like we were down 30 points or something. Pretty astonishing to me.
He has a lower completion rate then anyone but Manning and the lowest ypa am I missing something? If his completion rate is 56% in our 2 yard pass offense run by Shotty imagine if a Oc actually lets him throw? It will be a disaster. Bottom line is if you wanna keep Sanchez fine, but if we can get Peyton next year get him at any cost.
how many times are you going to say this? I need a break from TGG, all of this sh!t is getting annoying and old
Anytime you look at statistical charts like this, a smart fan should do a reality check imo. In many ways that chart could indicate that Sanchez has been better then Ben Rothlesberger. Say that again slowly and ask yourself if that makes sense.
It's Cimini, but Rex says it will never happen again (rolls eyes). http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/jets/post/_/id/10026/a-number-that-will-live-in-infamy-67 Unless you've spent the holidays on a tropical island, you probably know that Mark Sanchez had 67 dropbacks in the Christmas Eve loss to the Giants -- 59 pass attempts, five sacks and three scrambles. In short, that's a lot. Rex Ryan said Wednesday that will never happen -- ever. Some perspective: In the famous "Miracle at the Meadowlands" in 2000, when the Jets beat the Dolphins in overtime, Vinny Testaverde had only 61 dropbacks -- 59 passes, one sack and one scramble. (By the way, he completed 36 for 378 yards and five TDs.) The 67 dropbacks are the most in a game this season and tied for the most since the start of 2008, according to John McTigue of ESPN Stats & Information. Sanchez’s previous high was 51, done in 2010 (Week 14 vs Dolphins). Most Dropbacks in a Single Game, Last 4 Seasons Mark Sanchez ....... 67 -- Week 16 vs Giants, 2011 Brian Griese ......... 67 -- Week 3 vs Bears, 2008 Matthew Stafford . 66 -- Week 10 vs Bears, 2011 Colt McCoy .......... 66 -- Week 4 vs Titans, 2011 Matt Schaub ........ 64 -- Week 14 vs Ravens, 2010 Note: Griese and Schaub were OT games. Most Dropbacks in a Single Game, 2011 Season Mark Sanchez ....... 67 -- Week 16 vs Giants Matthew Stafford .. 66 -- Week 10 vs Bears Colt McCoy .......... 66 -- Week 4 vs Titans Chad Henne ......... 57 -- Week 1 vs Patriots Curtis Painter ....... 57 -- Week 8 vs Titans
personal attacks? state my opinion and read read it as personal attacks. you called me a few names in the prior respose and i answered back with the attack back. if you want to get personal, i don't have much respect for you or your opinions. i saw that video you posted from some cheap welfare cell phone with you and your homies talking like uneducated people would talk. in fact, from what little i could see of your apartment in that video, i'm betting you're one of those welfare freeloaders i referred to earlier. posting from your girlfriends welfare pad i suspect and i doubt you'd have much interest in that job offer. why work when you and your homies can mooch off the girlfriends and welfare.
I didn't call you names. I stated facts. Heh. What video? I don't remember ever posting any video on the internet, ever. Good of you to spend so much time researching my posts, though. You may learn something about football. By the way, my phone is probably faster than your computer.
