An amazing accomplishment to break Marino's single season passing yards record.

Congrats to Brees...Without a doubt Mr. Elite.

He could win MVP now...How about that if Rodgers after all this doesnt win the MVP.

Brees deserves it....Bet the Dolphins franchise regrets to this day not signing him and going with Daunte Caulpepper instead lol. He ends up beating a Dolphin record

Congrats to Brees! What a beast.

Watching Rodgers last night, then Brees tonight, depressed me as a Jets fan though.

I am a Sanchez supporter, but how great would it be to have a Top QB lead the Jets offense? Those offenses are flawless. I really hope that is the NFC Championship Game.

He's a good guy too so it's hard not to root for him after all he has done for that city.

Brees is my favorite QB...Been so since the start of 2009.

ESPN showed his passes and his TD to Meachem for 24 yards...I saw that and thought of how Sanchez could never anticipate making that pass.

    Sucks for us

Btw, equipment managers who rub those balls haha

I've been a jets fan my whole life, but moved to new orleans 2 years ago and have adopted the saints as my NFC team. the Saints and Drew Brees are so much more than a football team to that city. everyone lives and dies by the Saints, especially on Sundays. I was lucky to go to a few games this season and there's just a magic in the Superdome that you don't experience at many other, if any other stadiums. Really happy for Brees and hoping Saints can repeat '09 this year.

Not to turn this into a debate but Drew Bree's couldn't always anticipate that throw and he certainly couldn't in year 3 of his career.

I slept a little better last night knowing there was one less Dolphin in the record books.

Thanks, Breezy. Fuck Dan Marino in his stupid blowhole!

But now who will break Drew Brees' single season facial birthmark record?

    Mhmmmmmmm ... Sanchez?

Oprah would need someone to bring her a beach towel to wipe Dirty's mole map off his face.

The coolest thing about Brees breaking Marino's record is that the Fins went with Dante Culpepper over Drew Brees in free agency. Sweet move Miami!
