I wouldn't want that fucking prick no matter what.

I will not forget how he dissed the Jets when they had the number 1 pick overall when he appeared to have every intent to come out of school until the Jets got the number 1.

He didn't want to play for us then, what makes you think he would want to play for us now. You think he wants to take a beating playing behind our line after coming off surgery.

Haven't we been down this road with Favre...?

Look the Jets should stay the course with Sanchez and just build around his weaknesses.

Make the defense stronger..make the offensive line better and stick with the "Ground and Pound" philosophy.

This need team needs a long term solution and Peyton Manning and his health issues isn't it.

Acoording to his dad, Archie, Peyton wanted to play for the Jets and Archie approached Parcells about Peyton playing for the Jets. But Parcells refused to guarantee he would take Peyton with the first pick. The story makes sense as Archie was behind Eli's trade to NY 7 years later and he would know that that Peyton could make a lot more money playing in NY.

That's more of Parcells dropping the ball than Manning dissing the Jets, last time I checked.

I would trade Sanchez a 1st and 2nd for a shot to have the GOAT.

    1. I totally agree.

    2. Mark was my favorite jet at one point....not anymore...I'm getting fed up fast.

    3. Brett Favre is NOT Peyton Manning.

I know everyone keeps saying that we need help in other areas, but honestly, the addition of Manning would more than compensate for the lack of an elite safety/pass rusher/WR.

Lets just get a RT who is actually NFL-caliber and put our money into Manning. Peyton would immediately makes us SB contenders overnight. You'd have to be blind not to see it.

I do not want Peyton if it means keeping Schotty. Brian is the antichrist.

At this point, I would probably feel just as comfortable starting Brunell as I would Sanchez. Sanchez simply has no potential for being even an above-average player in this league. I mean you're in year 3 and still making these mind-boggling turnovers and mistakes? Unacceptable. Peyton would never do that in a million years!

schotty is gone regardless. We need a scapegoat and he's the likely candidate considering his track record and Moore's involvement with the team.

Oh ya and best part about Peyton is he calls his own plays and audibles alot instantly making Shotty useless.

    This.

Shotty can call whatever he wants. I'm thinking Peyton has the pull to to tell him to fuck himself on every snap.

The Jets will stick with Mark, but it's fun to dream.

All the boards I've ever been on (and obviously I'm new here) have these "hey _________, stop starting threads" posts. You know his SN but you read his post, read all the replies, and then say something like that. Maybe that makes sense in Bizzaro world but I sure don't get it.
