Ahead of today's game, I thought it would be fun to look back at that magnificent game-winning drive in the 1988 game, so I uploaded it to YouTube.

    Enjoy, and Merry Christmas!

    This is great. Go Jets.

You have the end of the Miami game in 92 when we clinched the last WC spot at 8-8? That was a monster drive as well.

Do U think we have any of the players or coaches from that 88 team on today's roster?

I was at that game. I think it was 1991 though, if we're talking about the same game. Man, all the cock bag Dolphin fans are going nuts, then we get a shot in OT and win it. I can't remember the geriatric kicker we signed right before this game and he nails the game winner...

I used to have that, but I haven't been able to find the tape for years! If I ever track it down I'll definitely put it up on YouTube. That was Johnny Hector's last hurrah - 13 carries, 132 yards!

I think you are right, '91. Kicker was Raull Allegre, who used to kick for some other slapdick team.

Back to the 88 game, that Belicheck guy really has been responsible for some impressive defenses over the years.

Ken Obrien was the man. If he had ever had an Oline he would have been great.

I disagree w/the Sanchez comment. I saw some good catches on iffy throws by KOB. The '11 crew is not making those catches

+10000000000000 on the OC comment. Tat drive was brilliant play calling
(from Rich Kotite, no less, although I think that was a Rex/Pettine kind of set-up)

    Great to see this clip

Also: thanks to UKJetsfan two big things in the last 24 hrs!

    A trip down Memory Lane!

    (1) I miss barefoot kickers.

    (2) Roger Vick = so clutch.

    (3) Why throw on third and goal? Giants have no TOs. Run the ball, call TO with :01 to go, and kick 25 yd FG to win. Simple. We score with :37, now the Giants have a chance with the ball down 6. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

    (4) Leahy's almost missed PAT explains why kicking the FG was not a foregone conclusion. Yikes!

Thanks so much for posting this.

    Awesome!! Thanks for posting that.

Funny seeing some of those names again, like JoJo Townsell helping to spring Humphrey on the return.
