its a hell of a nice stadium, easy to get to from north jersey. bout 2.5 hrs. fans were drunk and stupid but mostly harmless. we got our asses beat so they mostly just engaged in friendly banter. my buddy and i stayed till brunell came in so they respected that. obviously the game was a total shitshow and an embarassment
they're ok...i mean most of them are drunk idiots for sure but thats par for the course at any NFL game. one of them kept yelling "time for the jets to go back to the island" whatever that means lol
Nice to hear you didn't have to endure the volatile group of scum that surely exists. It's funny you mention them giving you credit for hanging til the bitter end even when it was well decided much earlier. I feel like even the most asshole of fans kind of give some kind of respect to the opposing fan that is willing to take their medicine. But anyway, congrats on not being puked on, tased, snowballed, or booed (if you went with a santa hat by any chance)
I think your experience would've been drastically different had the Jets led the game at any point. LOL... good to hear you're not injured.
yeah my friend and i were saying that i agree...most of their fans left midway thru the 3rd...as we left this dude was yelling beat the giants haha
had a great time at the Tailgate Joe tailgate until the game actually started the game sucked however, the sun will still rise in the east tomorrow decent stadium -- sat in lower level which is not nearly raised up as much as the one at Jet Life so it was more like the bad experience of the lower level at the old Giant dump. Also sat near an aisle and never saw so much aisle traffic up and down during the actual play of the game. Either Cheesesteaks need to go to the toilet more often than fans in other places or to get themselves drunked up on overpriced beer but, despite 45 yard line row 24 lower level seats, much of the game had to be watched on the TV screens because of the aisle traffic but, the Philly fans where mostly respectfully and funny and the experience was pretty good except for the awful egg the Jets laid during the three hours of actual game play
I remember an incident a few years back, I think it was in Philly. an Eagles fan threw a beer bottle at a child's head because he was wearing a Cowboys jersey.
Good stuff buddy. It's a place that is on my "bucket" list. To my mind fans are the same the world over love their football and like a few brews, behave like ass holes.. This could make a good road game for the Ganggreen.com some where down the line.
