Hahahaha absolutely not. Every week Revis says the next game will be a "dogfight" and I waited all year for this game for him to say it and in the postgame interview he said it. It was awesome.
It's not impossible the Eagles still make the playoffs. If they win out, they need some help, but it's not that crazy. It's probably more likely they're eliminated by gametime. But if one or both results go their way, they have a shot.
Yeah, let's be afraid of another team at full intensity. Give me a break! I'm so tired of wimpy Jets fans looking for the easy way out in games. Stop being such a scared wimp. Jets SHOULD be able to beat any other team at FULL intensity. And if we can't, then we don't belong in the playoffs, where supposedly the best teams in the league square off. I SO hate these types of threads. I hope the Eagles are very much still in the race by kick-off. Maybin will see more playing time, epically on 2nd and long plays where vick running like a wounded dog is a possibility.
When they play at the Giants, the Giants should play that old LT quote on the big board. That was against us in a pre season game, he got into a thing with Mickey Shuler.
Do you guys think we take a look at Jackson at the end of the season? I know he comes with a lot of baggage but I think he might be the playmaker that could take us over the hump. With that said this is a huge game I think we should win if the offense continues to produce
I don't think they'd want to dish out that huge contract he's demanding I also wouldn't be surprised if they tag him and want draft picks as well.
I actually want the Eagles to be still in the hunt when we play them, I want their best. I want to see what this Jets team is made of, we haven't played a complete game all season. Maybe knowing that the Eagles will be playing for the playoff lives will help us stay focused & play to our potential... hopefully that will be enough for us to win.
We need to kick these guys in the balls, I have no tolerance for the Eagles. I want to totally dismantle them and then beat the big blue assholes on christmas eve. Finish with a win at the fish, my least favorite team in all of sports. Is that too much to ask? I know it may be, but I've got high hopes.
Yeah, if I was Desean Jackson I would be saying the same thing. He more than deserved to get paid and the Eagles say they would. Lockout gets lifted and they bring in how many free agents? Pay Nnamdi how much? Pay and old and overrated Babin how much? Steve Smith? I'd be playing it safe too, the organization obviously doesn't care about him.
