Isn't it really, really depressing to watch football, knowing you have a 1 in 32 chance of winning a Super Bowl each year? I mean, do you get any enjoyment out of a win? I'm really sad after a loss usually, but I get really happy after a win. I can't imagine watching a game where all I'm thinking about is winning the Super Bowl. That is the ultimate goal, sure, but it's just as much fun watching a team try to make the playoffs in the last few weeks of the season, even if you know the team probably isn't good enough for the postseason. No sense of being a fan in something if the only way I get any enjoyment is a goal that only happens just over 3% of the time (1/32).
So now it's none of "my" business? Since when did we, or you get so private around here all of a sudden. This from the man who wanted to meet me in person. You think I understand "zero about FB" because I was a fan of Herm and believed he had the tools to take the Jets to the top. What that means is you disagree with me not that I understand "zero about football". Stop being petty. And your use of "misinformation" is also used incorrectly. Like you said, "IMHO". So just stay home champ. Don't waste your precious time watching. They aren't wining the SB this year. I'll be waiting to hear your post season bitch report about Mangini. Till then....
I'll enjoy it. I'll pay 280 bucks for it when you NY/NJ folk get it for free. Even when I know they Jets will most likely achieve an 8-8 record at the most. And I won't be pissed off they didn't win the Super Bowl this year.
Whats my problem is that the guy is a complete troll who adds nothing to the board. Haven't you picked up on this yet? What's your problem, seeing as how you've called me out?
banned for trolling sounds like an idea to me:up: god this thread has gotten out of control...what was the original topic again? BBQ's?
I know, Champ. I was just having some fun in the spirit of this thread. Sometimes I feel like this board has the atmosphere of sitting around the corner pub with everybody having a cold one and staying friends -- barely.
Champ gets owned by Cakes: I find it funny that Champ accuses everyone of "misinformation", when he's the one that always comes off sounding like a senile lunatic.
