Green is playing hurt, LT tweaked knee again and Mcnight hurt today. Does this mean Bilal will be getting touches next week? Green was slow getting up on many of his carries it seemed. The guy is gutting it out but how long can he keep it up? Tough running on that final TD was impressive.

LT tweaked hid knee, but came back in, he'll probably be alright for next weeks game. McKnight hyper extended his elbow, he will have an MRI tomorrow and I am happy to see Greene tough it out. The previous 2 seasons it seemed like he wouldn't play through injuries, maybe he is finally getting into the right mind set to be a feature back. Powell stands a good chance to be active, but he has not been overly impressive in his limited touches so far this season. I would be surprised to see him get a lot of touches unless it is in garbage time or if the other 3 RB's in front of him are unable to go. I think he is someone who is going to need to benefit from this off season's work-outs. He will go into next season 3rd on the depth chart.

Let's hope it's not too serious with McKnight. It's not great to go into a game with your top three guys less than 100% (not that anybody is 100% by the 13th game). I'm wondering if Greene ribs will ever get better this year if he continues to play every week.

Greene has already said his ribs would not heal until the season ended , but he is going to play through it.

Greene + LT + cortisone = our three-headed RB monster.

frankly if there was a week to deal w/ nagging injuries at a position let it be against KC.

    two things i have noticed:

1 - greene seems to wince every time he gets up from the ground
2 - he is not a feature back...doesn't have the speed or vision. can be explosive at times, but he should be a finisher, and we should have another more dynamic back as the feature back

The injury to his ribs have diminished that bruiser back we use to see. He just glides down with contact for the most part now,

I was thinking the same thing today. I love what Greene brings as a back. However (I know he is dealing with a rib injury but this goes back the past two seasons), he hits the hole slowly, dances quite a bit and moves to much laterally. Maybe I am jealous as I watched Helu but that guy ran hard and hit rather than be hit. My two cents...

Helu looked sick, I really wish we had a guy like that on the team. I think Greene is more a product of our line than anything else.

I'm happy that Greene is trying to gut this injury out, but he didn't look very good today. Very slow to hit the hole and sometimes doesn't hit the right hole at all. He just has no explosiveness at all. I still say, if healthy, we need to get McKnight some carries. I was furious that he wasn't getting any carries, even before he got hurt.

Yeah Helu almost looked like Greene before he got pounded by NFL linebackers for 2 years and had to deal with a significant injury every time he suited up for half a season.

if there is one position its relatively easy to pick up a starter at its RB

i think greene probably had one of his best games of the season yesterday...happy with his performance. we should be good with him n mcknight as our RBs and LT for 3rd downs n screens.

with forte getting injured yesterday most likely he wont play for the remainder for the year, if the bears are too concerned about his injury, maybe they wont franchise him and the jets could pick him up
