Going Sunday for business, set it up so I land (hopefully) around 11 or 11:30, in time to see the game. Does anyone know a place or places where they show the games? I will be at a Marriott resort where they have a bar but not the Sunday Ticket.

    Thanks in advance.

Heard of them, sure I can find a place, but since we have people on here from the area I thought I'd get some opinions/suggestions. That ok with you?

you have a rent a car? Hammerjacks is in Davie.... basically just go west on 595 and you're there. it's a jets bar.

i live in downtown miami so going there and drinking only to drive back 35 minutes isnt the best idea, but i've heard good things about it from other people

Yeah definately. Go to Hammerjacks - every Jets fan should go there once in their lifetime. Take 595 West to University Drive. Turn left (South) Go about 3 or 4 miles and about 1/2 mile after Griffin Rd it will be on your right. It is connected to a bowling alley. It should take you about 20 - 25 minutes from your location by the airport.......well worth it.

I was down there a month ago and watched the Bills game here (didn't have a car so Hammerjacks wasn't an option for me):

Tons of TVs, better food than Hooters IMO. Also wasn't crowded at all whereas Hooters is in a major shopping center along with a bunch of other bars and I was concerned that it might be a challenge to get a seat near a TV showing the Jets.

I have an uncle who lives in Lauderdale.

3 places he recommended, without hesitation,

    1) Bill's Filling Station- Wilton Manors- Drinks and wings
    2) Depot Cabana Bar and Grill- North 11th Avenue- Ft. Lauderdale- Known for their oversized steaks
    3) Ramrod Bar and Grill- 4th Avenue- Ft. Lauderdale- tons of young ones dancing about and alot of drink specials

From the way he sounded, you can't go wrong with any of the 3.

There is a place called Bru's (He is a former Dolphin player) Naturally if the Dolphins are playing they are featured on the very big screen. But he had the Sunday tix & you just have to find the TV playing that game. The place is a few miles north & west of the FL airport

At Hammerjack's with Puck, gotta win this one.

KOZ, I'll check out the places you suggested later. You can tell a lot about a man by the bars he suggests you patronize.

Public shout out to Puck for hooking me up with a ride and getting me to Hammerjack's. Great Jets bar, best one I've been to, thanks. Got to hang out with his dad again, too.

    Also, KOZ lol.
