If you want to get people of of Sanchez' back they Jets need to get LT and JK back in the lineup. JK runs precise routes and Sanchez really seemed to be clicking with him in that3rd receiver role. LT out of the backfield is a huge security blanket and forces a line backer to pay attention to him which opens up other things. Sanchez completes a very high percentage of his throws to those two so getting them back asap is critical for the stretch run.

Not to dismiss your post but its kinda obvious that Sanchez is missing his fav check-down back and the comeuppance slot man.

I heard the stat too on Kay show I think where they said sanchez has an 85% completion percentage when throwing to LT & Kerley. Probably cause they are short safe passes.

I'm sure he can't wait to get both of them back. As frustrating as he is to watch sometimes I will take him over most qb's I the league. He's more emotional than my girlfriend and daughter put together but his upside is huge. Dalton looks good but started 4 years in college in a pass happy pro style offense, Rodgers is ridiculous but he watched pervert play for 4 years before he got his shot. I don't want this to sound like a #6 lovefest but the kid plays well down the stretch takes a beating and wins on the road in the playoffs, he has earned 1-2 more years of chances IMO.

MS will only get better if he can target SH on point, SG stays healthy, DK chooses better routes, JK is still new to the offense...Hopefully PT can keep playing well.

As long as BS is around, the O will struggle. You could surround MS with guys like AJ, LF, and AG but he would still struggle in this stifled scheme.

PT had a great game on Sunday and could create a nice 4 WR set when they decide to spread things out.

IDK, but I really hope JK and LT can play because they are great for our O. SH, PB, and DK are effective players no doubt, but MS needs more than just 3 legitimate threats out there.

i think the OL needs to be more consistent, we need a WR who can stetch the D opposite of Holmes

and most importantly Sanchez needs to step it up himself

Does the defense need BT to be better?

For the life of me, I don't understand the defense. In the first Bills game, some were saying and rightfully so that it was as good a game the Jet defense has played, maybe ever under Rex. Then all of a sudden Tebow marches 95 yards to beat them and Buffalo the second game lights them up. Don't get it.

BT would sure help. JW and GM have been struggling and AM is only good in limited situations. IMO, it would certainly appear to be an area of need come draft time and this draft appears to be deep at the OLB spot.

Good to hear that LT and JK are practicing.
