There is a heck of a lot more wrong then Schotty with the Jets. REX for one makes excuses for his screw up players and coaches. He is Mr. Nice Guy. Nice guys finish last! ERIC SMITH keeps playing very poorly and Rex allows it. Mulligan keeps screwing up and he keeps playing! Our punter sucks and he keeps playing! FOLK is a drama queen every time he kicks a FG no matter how close. Ever hear REX say a bad word? too many think they know what is wrong with the Jets by dumping on Schotty. I dare say Schotty's most glaring failure is his inability to develop Sanchez into a Franchise QB. Schotty and Cavanaugh should go solely because of that issue! Is Pettine exempted from firing? Our Defense has slipped noticably this year. He came here with NO experience as a DC. Rex likes him so he is our DC and when he screws up, nothing is said. Nice guys finish last!

You can't compare the 2011 Jets to Kotite Jets, or Brien missing field goals in Pittsburgh, or any of those days because it is not the same. They have went to back to back AFCG's and our coach said "We are gonna win the Super Bowl this year! We are the best!" The fans bought in. Now looking at this 5-5 team is sickening. We (as a franchise and fans) look like a joke. Thats why everyone is so upset. Its not the losses themselves.
I am watching the game no matter what. Ever since the Sunday ticket was born I have watched every game. Even the years the Jets went 4-12 I watched every game.
I can tell you this one thing TDK, going forward? Anything Rex says is just ying yang to me. I ain't buying nothing that comes out of that Man's mouth. When it comes to this team, I'm taking the Missouri "show me" route. No more talk. Rex's credibility, as far as I'm concerned, has taken a huge hit. He needs to win. That's all there is to it. I was the first to post in the game thread when Petro opened it, how ironic. I said it in THIS thread a few posts after my original one that I knew I wasn't going to "boycott" the game, that the thread was made to vent, simple as that. Apparently venting after a tough loss is frowned upon by the sunshiners, but that's a different argument for a different day. I should threaten to boycott next week too.
I wasnt able to watch the game, I was recieving texts about it. ANd damn when I got the text saying we were down 24-21 I was sick to my stomach. Then I heard the Jets took the lead. Then the Bills nearly came back. Im kinda glad I didnt see this mess. Thankgod we won.
Jesus, people act like they've never overreacted to a brutal Jets loss like we saw last week. If it's such a horrible thread then stop posting in it and let it die already.
