Right now I'm more concerned about the offense, so if it were between a strong offensive or defensive showing, I'd rather see the offense come alive against a defense that has sucked the last few weeks.
Zach is one of those wonderful people that types "GAME OVER" in the game thread if the opponent get a first down in the first quarter. Such a joy. At least real vaginas serve a purpose.

That sucks, now that you're back at school you'll never know the weather is like @ MetLife Stadium until the game starts.
I understand the conference and division record aspect, but the Jets can't afford to lose any games period.
I am hoping to win in a lights out defensive performance and a sucky offensive performance to further re enforce the need for change for our offense. It is becoming clear that any type of success offensively is only going to be a diversion and illusion to dissuade fans and the media from calling for peoples' heads. The offense needs to get worse for this team to get better, the FO will use any signs of improvement as an excuse to maintain the status quo, so I hope our offense fails miserably and we win the game 2-0 on a safety.
Not true ... we can certainly lose one. we need 10 wins to get in. It really doesn't matter who they come against. Except ... we have the chance to bury Buffalo today, and losing would put us a game behind them and we'd like to see them beat Tennessee next week and possibly SD or Denver down the line. we don't want them getting to 10 with us. in fact, as long as we beat Buffalo, we'd actually have a decent shot to get in with 9 wins ... but then we'd need to deal with tiebreakers.

I'll be rooting hard for the Jets as always, but it's too hard to accurately predict a win or loss anymore. I have absolutely no idea what Jets team will show up today. My only prediction is we will not score an offensive TD in the 1st quarter again. Fuck you Shotty!!!!!
What have you been smoking? My guess is that the Jets don't make the playoffs, and Rex eats his promise that Sanchez will be the starting QB as long as he is HC. Hitching his job to Sanchez will surely end his Jets career.
