He became short with the media and also Michael kay said that Rex made the jets go straight to the weight room following the denver loss.
The Jets are the Keystone Cops of football! I go cross eyed watching these clowns. I tune into to other games, and it all seems to make sense. I'm not saying they score a lot of points, but the offense seems to just...flow. They adjust, they take what's there, they make a nice play every once in a while...I don't know... It just looks professional.
Haha i find myslef saying the same thing at times. Youre watching just a normal game between 2 mediocre teams and whats that theres a guy wide open and the QB has time! AMAZING!! unfortunately for that team their QB doesnt take advantage of it or f's up the throw. This however is not the case for te NYJ's.
Funny how perspectives change things. I actually feel better about the jets watching most other teams. I watch Sunday ticket each week and see terrible calls in the red-zone, horrible passes, dropped balls, sloppy fumbles and poor clock management in nearly every game. The only unbelievable offense I have seen is the packers and even they can look beatable for a drive or two at a timel
The number of snaps a back up QB gets in practice is directly proportional to the un-quality of the starting offensive line. Maybe Rex feels that if the o-line and receivers like to bitch about Mark, he'd give them something to really bitch about.
Wow so now even the coaches are realizing that Sanchez' poor play is unacceptable. Good first step in the right direction.
This must be your first season watching the Jets. Where were you last year, or the year before when this same exact thing happened and to a higher extent? If you were aware of those times, then you must just be a fool.
Regardless if the coaches thought he was playing well this wouldn't happen, even if it is just a motivational tactic.
It was directed at this, it is not a move in any direction, unless of course you meant and are acknowledging that Sanchez is in no danger of being replaced.
There were numerous times over the past 2 weeks that I did not think Sanchez would get up after being hit....and I hate to say this, but late in the Denver game I was kinda hoping he wouldn't. Have to keep Brunell ready cause Sanchez is getting murdered back there and I have to believe that Brunell will be needed at some point this season.
Sanchez is destabilizing the team. He should just do what management tells him to and not question what they say. If he says about it they should cut him and lock him out of the building. The Jets have had a bunch of different QB's and they survived just fine.
Let me know when Rex starts giving Ducasse snaps at RT over Hunter in practice. That should send a message to the entire team. If Vlad is going to get some reps no ones job is safe.
Absolutely not.......But he's been taking a beating back there. That is all I was saying. Based on the horrendous line play I believe that we will see Brunell in there before the end of the season.
