What does it matter? Tebow runs just as much as Vick did, if not more and puts up better numbers. Both had shitty completion percentages and were better runners than passers. Vick probably had better mechanics than Tebow does now, but on paper it sure doesn't look like it made a difference. One is waiting for the second coming, the other was praised as the second coming in the media. It's actually pretty similar if you can look past the way each guy was covered.

Tebow is in a scheme that sucks. As a coach you can't let a QB just get comfortable in the pocket especially in the redzone. Despite that Tebow was 6-7 against the Jets in the first half. Tebow looked great the first half. Besides his receivers dropped three or four of his passes.
By the time that play came around, the Jets players had to have been about toast in that thin air trying to keep up with Tebow the entire game, the entire 95 uard drive.
I distinctly remember some of those "drops" being horrible throws that the receivers could barely even get their hands on, and a catch would've been a small miracle in itself. I'm a huge Gators fan, but Tebow is complete shit.
Broncos defense had a much better offense to defend, They deserve a lot more credit that your giving them.

If you blitz you have to blitz to make tebow move to his right. If anything you overload to the side smith is at and force him where he's most uncomfortable. But that didn't matter. Smith lost contain from the get-go and it was easy for tebow to run to the outside. Smh
I don't agree that the call was that bad, blitz through the middle to clog up the running lanes and flush Tebow outside the pocket. Of course he's gonna run to his left as that is his more comfortable side and it also keeps the threat of the pass alive, so the only thing that Smith, who has outside contain, is to take the outside away and force Tebow either to pass (which would've been the best case scenario as it would've been an incompletion, or better a pick, most probably) or the get tacled for a small loss or a short gain.It would've been 4th down. Instead Smith took a horrible angle and lost containment and the rest we know. Bottom line is, it was a good and rational call IMO, the execution just sucked horribly.
