Martin runs to the right, throws it into the endzone, Chrebet makes the catch for a touchdown! Jets win, 21-17.
Wow, nice dig GM. I remember the Tonkyo game. That was awesome. I also remember the Bucs won that game too. Bucs 219307480923 - Jets 6
i might be going,i have to house-sit but I'm going to see if i can get anyone to go. i procrastonated. ill have to check tix availability an price. but hopefully i can make it. if not ill be watching it on good ol chan 212 at 10 am sat morning.
Don't know where in FL you are...but in Orlando and Tampa the game will be shown live on local TV.
I haven't read through all of the thread, but the only thing I really look for in preseason is who is doing what and how good are they doing it. Winning a preseason game has very little meaning. It does have meaning if it is Bucs 56 and Jets 3. That means we could not perform as a team at all anywhere. If we ended up losing 13 to 10 and it was a good scrimmage then I see it as positive, especially if we see glimpses of outstanding play from some of our players. Obviously, if we win the preseaason game, fine, but as we all know, it has little bearing on the season.
im in Brandon, like 20-30 mins from Raymond James. Ive been talking about getting a few fellow jet fans together but I've been busy with work so it never happened. If its on local TV I'm assuming itll be FOX13. either way i wont miss it. I think I waited too long to purchase tickets online though.
Ah yes there was that Kotex unbeaten xhibition season & then the horrific regular season that followed. That says all there is to say about the merits of pre season FB. All U can hope for in these games is that nobody gets a season ending injury
I cannot imagine why anybody would buy xhibition tix on line when season tix holders who are forced to buy them are trying to dump them & recover even a portion of there money that they spent for them
that was my point, I went to a site where Bucs fans sell their tickets but there was a disclaimer saying something along the lines of buy them a week in advance. i have to house sit anyways, so I'll probably just sit down and enjoy the game at home with cheaper beer and the liberty to smoke.
Payed face value for mine to a season tix holder...Well worth not only a Football game, but a night away with no kids:up:
