When Pool gets healthy they absolutely have to play him more. Eric Smith very simply can not cover anybody. He sucks back there. Absolutely sucks.

Dont kid yourself, Eric Smith sucked since the first second he stepped on the field and let Gronk drag him five yards as he hung around his waste. I seriously can not remember one play where he was effective.
If the D was gassed, it was really their own fault.. they couldn't make a stop for shit. And I disagree at the presumption that Smith was only playing poorly because he was tired. I think it's more because Smith sucks that Smith played like shit. It's not like this is the first time we've seen this out of him.
Remind me, how many sacks, hurries, missed tackles and yards did we give up? Picking on one individual is poor, when a lineman or LB misses a tackle, its largely un-noticed as the secondary mops up, when the secondary misses, its glaring. This was a piss poor effort from the HC down to the last man to step off the field. You win as a team and lose as a team.
It's very disturbing that our best tackler is a corner back and when I say best tackler I mean he is miles ahead of the next best tackler on the team, which is Harris.
Smith and Schotty shouldn't even be on the plane/bus back to New York. What got me is it took Denver 50+ minutes to realize what everyone else in the NFL knows. Erick Smith sucks.
