Yes ... it was a terrible performance by all three phases. Denver-Buffalo-Washington-Kansas City ... Does anyone really doubt that we'll be sitting at 9-4 with 3 to play?
those are some really shitty football teams. unfortunately, it'll take those 4 games to erase this loss for most people.
Denver will be tough because of the lack of practice between days, but their shitty pass offense should balance out that negativity. We have to play with motivation if we want to win those games. And I do agree that everyone needs to shut the fuck up.
Agreed...I do think that we can win the next 4 and be in position for the final 3 against the Eagles, Giants and Dolphins
Eh we'll probably have a winning record and make the playoffs. It just sucks being Boston's bitches. Not to mention I sat in the best seats ive ever sat in just to watch us get wrecked
I think its the terrible feeling when a game is winnable and we completely blow it and some people need to point fingers to make themselves feel better. I, personally, am not worried. I believe the Jets will bounce back and have a big winning streak. As long as the Jets win the next 5 out of our 7 games we have a shot, but preferably going 11-5 will be the ticket to get into the Wildcard.
As bad as it was I can take Three positives from this game. 1 - I believe our running game is back. we ran effectively while the game was still close but had no choice but to abandon it when things got messy. Its been getting better for three of four weeks now. Going forward I'm confident we'll be able to run the ball when we need to. 2 - Plaxico is getting back to being the player he was. took a while to shake the rust off but it looks like he'll be a productive weapon for us the rest of the year ... especially in the Red Zone. 3 - I've seen enough of Jeremy Kerley now to know he can play. The kid makes some key catches for us and should be an adequate replacement for Cotchery going forward.
I think we're doomed. Pats exploited our flaws, and their schedule is ridiculously easy from here on out.
you mean the guy who threw one TD, ran for another, and would have had a third if Holmes can stand on his feet ... but threw one terrible INT after the Defense and Special Teams put us in a 14 point hole? that guy?? Yeah ... he can't play.
The Jets are good enough to beat every team left on the schedule. that still doesn't change the fact that this was supposed to be a defining game in the Jets ascension as the Pats replacement on top of the AFC East, and instead it was a defining game in how many deficiencies this team has to being a real Super Bowl contender.
