their schedule is the same as our schedule with the exception of two games -- they play the first place teams, we play the second place teams in two AFC divisions-

Its just annoying that the Colts have gone from being a tricky game for the Pats to being a virtual free pass

I'd say it's pretty much a total wash in terms of the full schedule. We got Baltimore on the road, they got Pitt on the road. We get Jags at home, they get Colts at home. Pretty even to me.

yeah but the Jags were never likely to be a top team whereas the Colts should have been a tricky tie for the Patsies.

If the Jets win sunday, they'll have the tie breaker over the Patriots (assuming Jets beat Bills at home).

This is huge because that means that the Patriots would have to go 7-0 and Jets go 5-2 for the Patriots to pass the Jets. If the Patriots lose just one of their remaining games, then they would need the Jets to go 4-3 in order to pass them.

The key is beating the Pats Sun nite. Even if the Jets sleepwalk Thursday in Denver and lose they will be fine as long as they beat Buffalo and Miami. I see them finishing 11-5 while the Pats would have to go 7-0 the rest of the way to beat the Jets out for the division title. Won't happen......
