By that I mean they have the lowest frequency of personal foul penalties. Full article here: http://www.nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/45205588/ns/sports-nfl/
Bart Scott hasn't been on the field as much this year and seems to have himself under control when he is out there. he was always good for a personal foul the last two years.
Hopefully we can turn that around this week and take a bunch of cheap shots after we get a good lead.
the lions are dirty fuckers. That article is flawed because it's only evaluating things that are called. The lions get away with a lot of penalties (especially the offensive line hitting defenders after the play) that aren't always called. So you can't say a team is not dirty just based on the penalties you're evaluating, and then discrediting certain ones while others go unnoticed. The ticky tacky and borderline calls are a result of reputation i'm sure
Dirty isn't defined by the same standards in today's game. That facemask by Suh probably happens at least once in every game. There were fans out there saying Ryan could have died, broken his neck, etc and that the league needs to step in and do something about Suh. It was like it was the first facemask penalty in the history of the sport.
Cosigned. If they get a free shot on Brady they should take it and the 15 yards. Now I imagine some PatsFag will quote this post and say, "TeeHee stay classy New York!"
Just some from NE fans, considering this week's game and the unending respect you have for that fan base: Of course, Pats' fans were wondering when a suspension would come after that little tiff with Mankins this preseason.
I'd give my left and part of my right nut to have Suh on this team. Consider that he probably hasn't even hit his ceiling yet.
gonna have to out "nut" u here koz as i would give em both to have suh on the DL. man put a bounty on brady and let him go to work.
You'd think with a guy named Dirty Sanchez running the team we wouldn't be considered "clean". Ha! Ok, it wasn't that funny. That being said, I don't mind the lack of penalties being called, but I don't think there's much positive to having a clean reputation. There's no Lady Byng Memorial trophy in the NFL.
