Those who were planning on going out to Hofstra tomorrow, don't don't bother. Mangini is giving the players a well deserved day off. how rude
I wonder if that is because they are saying there is a good chance of severe lightning storms all day. I guess, if you have to make the choice between struggling through the intense heat of this week, or dodging electrical strikes, you have to make the choice to drink a lot of water.
I was planning on going tomorrow, but I read this in the associated press, which is good enough for me. But the slimes who run the Jets web site still have given no indication.
it could be interpreted as a good sign, in the sense that he possibly dangled a carrot in front of the players, imlporing them to have a solid weeks practice, in which they possibly did have.
Or because it's over a hundred degrees outisde? The media doesn't seem to fail to remind us how hot it is in NY.
Ok Herm  Sounds like Mangini is very pleased with they way his team handled this week. He then tells them way to go guys! Here's a day off but your ass is mine on Saturday!
nice read. it seems like the players (i.e. Vilma and Mickens) are welcoming the new methods of running camp. whether or not they're just paying lip service, i don't know; but if they are truly happy with this, and they're turning into believers, i give Mangini all the credit in the world. cheers
I love the way camp has been handled this year. Mangini seems like a winner already. Hopefully all this can transfer to actual game play too.
If you liked the way he turned a top ten Patriot defense into a 26th ranked defense last year....... You will love the way camp has been handled this year, about as much as a Patriot fan.
