whats going on tgg. I thought I'd share my experience last night at training camp with all of yall. After work, me and two of my friends decided to go down to Hofstra. We work in Melville so it wasnt too bad. Got there about 45 minutes late so if they did any 1 on 1 tackling drills, we missed it. I'll tell you about somethings I saw and our story of the day

    QBS
Pennington- looked like the best QB out there. He and Ramsey were really the only two getting reps. Ramsey was constantly overthrowing wrs but he was making better decisions and actualyl looked good on his feet, scrambling out for a nice gain one play. Pennington made a TD pass to, i think it was, # 2 Wallace Wright which had the crowd go nuts. Cotchery looked really good also in the passing game but totally muffed a punt return and had to run a lap.
Clement got a lot of time on the line. McCariens looked alright, not as slow as people had suggested he was looking before.
    RBS
Blaylock i believe was getting the most reps and he looked good! very shifty and quick. in fact they all looked good. cedric and leon were continuing their solid pace at camp so far. nick hartigan who i'm really pulling for looked pretty mediocre.

i dont have much more to say about the players but i'll tell a story
me and my two friends decided to be one of those crazy people who stick around for a while. it just started with us chilling in the parking lot hoping that players would drive by and stop. many did. victor hobson snubbed us though. the first guy who stopped was kerry rhodes who stopped and took a picture with us. that was quite awesome. doug nienhuis is my new favorite player. couldnt be a nicer guy. he got out of his car to take a picture with us. like made it set up, talked to us for abotu 10 minutes. he seemed flattered that someone wanted to take a picture with him. Joel Dressen rode by on a bike and we stopped him as well as Ben Graham who is awesome and we joked around with him for a while. We ended up staying there near their cafeteria and dorms till around 10 o clock and ending up getting pictures with Nick Mangold, Brad Kassel and David Barrett but the illest guy by far is TERRY BUTLER. He chilled with us for like 20 minutes talking about how the big name players get so pissed when you call them by someone else's name ( Kassel freaked when he was called Kellen Clemens by some little kid). I guess i just decided to share this all. Justin Mccariens wouldnt give us dinner even though we asked him to get us somethin from the cafeteria. what a dick.

    the end haha

Was he a player? Maybe he'd just been released...

Good story though man, staying around worked out for you. So Graham is a good guy eh? I figured he would be. From being in Australia I gathered that for the most part the pro athletes don't try to set themselves apart from normal people the way they do here. For example, one night in Oz after a rugby game my friend and I went across the street to a bar where both clubs (teams) came after their game and had beers with fans.

That's how it should be. So I'm not surprised that Graham is a pretty down to earth guy. But I can;t imagine to many guys on the Jets being dicks...they all seem like pretty nice guys.

    Jtuds,

Haha yeah he was a player.
Graham was a real good guy. Very polite and friendly. My friend went to give him a handshake and Graham nearly broke his hand haha.
But he was one of the nicer people for sure. It's not that players are dicks but some dont want to be bothered and others are just not very personable
