Let's be fair, we are talking about Jets' beatwriters here. That's like saying that Franco ranked #1 or #2 among facist dictators in 1940s Europe.
Cannizarro has been hired by ESPN. Has a weekend ESPN radio show Sunday competing with Francesca's NFL show. A move up for him. Guess he will be a fulltime ESPN employee and will still report on NY NFL teams much like Hank Goldberg does Dolphin reports and Sal Palantonio is the Eagles beat reporter.
I hope its not Berger from Newsday either. Him, Lange and Hutchinson are the only guys that just report instead of whatever Shamizarro or Serby do.
Thank goodness I have a 16:9 widescreen TV. It would be funny looking at somene do a report and only seeing the middle 1/3 of him.
I have to say that devilonthetownhallroof's new signature trumps that one by miles: Sorry, junc. I'm a fan and all, but THAT's one of the greatest things I've ever seen posted on this board.
As big as Francesa is, and with his knee replacements, I can't see him losing unless 24 chicken wings are at the finish line.
I wish he would just say that at the beginning of each one of his baseball posts in BS, it would save so much time.
Hey, I wonder who is going to have more wins this year, the knicks or the Jets. (yes, I know the NBA plays 82 games)
Imagine Cannizarro and Francesca and Goldberg on one screen...you'd need to put five TVs side-to-side to get them all..
And college hoops. UNC only loses if and when the referees abslutely screw them and the ACC > the NBA.
My emails over the 1st day at Training camp "fiasco" must have worked... I told him Beat Writers are obsolete - go get a job with ESPN.
As far as watchability and excitement go, that statement is the absolute truth. Of course, the NBA is total garbage anyway.
