Maybe doesn't need a thread, but I found this amusing... especially the Dolphins record since december, 2009. But thanks to the celebration of the Florida Gators 2008 national championship team, Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has helped sell, per Salguero, an estimated 5,000 to 7,000 tickets. In all, 10,000 tickets have been sold since the much-criticized promotion was announced in August. At one point, as many as 28,000 tickets were unsold. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/ The Dolphins are 1-11 in their last 12 home games. Since December 2009, the Steelers, Texans, and Patriots have each won twice at Sun Life Stadium.
Tebow was literally like Jesus in Gainesville..... sellout doesn't surprise me. plenty of UF alumni in south florida(including myself) not to mention due to the fact the hurricanes have been garbage, a lot of people jumped on the UF bandwagon the last few years
All I know is I picked up Tebow in fantasy this week since Vick is on a bye week. I hope Tebow wrecks the dolphins this weekend!
Heh.. have Brady on a bye so Tebow is my 1 week band aid. Sucks that I have Fred Jackson on a bye too
I'm a little torn here -- As a Jets fan, I want Teblow to score 7 TDs against the Dolph(Lundgr)ins. But as a UGA alum, I want Teblow to be kidnapped, chained to a filthy toilet, then sodomized with amateur proctologist, Jason Taylors VHS video camera. Of course, knowing Teblows popularity, he would probably parlay the experience into a multimillion dollar book deal called, "Nightmare Colonoscopy", with a forward from J.K. Rowling on the virtues of "praying The Gay away".
i think the phins win this game. gonna have a bunch of pissed off dolphin players with the entire stadium rooting for tebow/broncos.
So at 0-5 they will get pissed off... But not to 0-4 and playing one of their biggest rivals... Yeah...
it's at home, and everybody is going there to see tebow. plus the broncos arent good, and tebow isnt either. im not extremely confident, but i think they will win this game.
I'm rooting for them. Just to help take them out of the Luck sweepstakes. I think with all the pressure on this kid,he will either never,or it will take 3-4 years before he has any success anyway.
i want them to win too. its hilarious actually, because dolphins fans want to lose every game. this will most likely be the first win of the season.
