Terrell Suggs basically said he was nothing more than a pretty boy and he quit after taking hits in the Ravens game. Apparently Sanchez is nowhere near Flacco's league.

    Anyone else see this?

Sounds like a loud-mouthed linebacker playing on a good defense to me.

Wow is anyone watching First Take ? Terrell Suggs trashing us

Ok so im watching first take and they have Suggs , Skip , and Mangini at the debate table . In the first segment the question was can Joe Flacco be a superbowl winning QB. So ofcourse Suggs replied he's a great leader, a great QB, and he's tough and out of nowhere he starts to talk about Sanchez and how much better flacco is than him. Here's the things he said about him if u missed it

    - He's soft

    - He quits on his team especially against baltimore

    - Doesn't win games with his arm

    - Our defense is the only reason he's had success in the playoffs

    - And also he said about our defense that the only great player on it is our ILB (Bart Scott)

He started to sound so ridiculous that Skip Bayless started to defend Sanchez and our defense saying that we aren't that far apart from them at all. Mangini though basically agreed with everything Suggs said

    He's defending his own guy.

And Sanchez played like dogshit both times he played against Baltimore, so it makes sense he'd say that.

What part of trash-talking linebacker eluded you? The Ravens have always been over the top lippy, although it used to be Ray Lewis and Bart Scott talking trash.

The thing I'd take out of that segment is that the Ravens are discounting the Steelers this year. Usually the loud-mouth Raven linebacker would have been taking shots at the Steelers and instead he went after the Jets.

It'll be interesting to see how things turn out in that race. Obviously Suggs isn't worried.

Suggs is right... Sanchez is a mediocre starting QB in the NFL. There have been many more before him and there will be many after him. He's definitely a pretty boy, plays scared when he gets a little roughed up, his accuracy is suspect all too often, and our defense is a big part of his success.... am I missing something here? Are all those points not true?

I think I would place Revis as his "big time" first round pick .. Gholston was his "big time" bust that's all..

Simply, hes wrong. Sanchez has shown how he is tough bouncing back when things look grim a lot so far in his early career. But that Ravens game, no one could protect him so what was he going to do. And even with all the illegal hits he was taking, he did remain in the game.

Sanchez quit that game, Suggs is 100% correct........it's no big deal.

Rex should have pulled him at the end of the game. imo

Well he's kind of right. Sanchez looks scared when he goes against top 5 elite defenses.

Who takes anything Suggs says seriously?

He's defending his QB, and throwing shots at the Jets...not unexpected.

Wish he was on my team.
