Fireman Ed to intro Jets-Dolphins on MNF

    I don't mind Fireman Ed. His gimmick might be somewhat stale at this point, but he does serve his purpose in getting the crowd into the J-E-T-S chant in almost perfect unison. There's not too many other home crowds in the NFL that can do that practically on cue.

    I'd much sooner start a "Junc Is A Massive Douche" chant than trying to compete with Fireman Ed.

    Has anyone heard his new commercial on WFAN? Where he talks about loving the color green and how some people will give you "green" for your car or something? It irritates me to no end.

    def thought it was gonna be corny but it actually illustrated what it feels like to be a jet fan pretty well... got me fired up a lil... i guess the offense didnt see it until the beginning of the 5th drive...

    ive heard about how ppl say fireman ed is a douche if u meet him, whatever be the case, he still leads the most unified chant in all of sports... hes OK in my book

    Good shit. He gets killed by some fans on this site -get over it. Is he that bad? I like that one of our more notorious and outspoken fans doesn't fit the pissy woe is us negative Jet fan stereotype.

    It was cool to see in the stadium for sure. I liked it. The Jets chant at the end of it was nice.

    Would have been nice to do it at the game sometime. Crowd was dead last night. Granted, so was the game.

    WTF? He is a JETS fan cheering the Jets... Why hate the guy? I dont get it. That was cool. Its cool when he gets on nationally televised stuff cuz it gets the Jets on nationally televised stuff.

    I am not in the NY area, so maybe I am missing something, but wow. People hate the guy for being a fan.

    It’s a hellalot better then a bunch of idiots with muskets and silly hats. What’s cooler than a fireman? Maybe a Navy SEAL?

    Leave the guy alone and let him be.
