TEXANS WAS AN ERROR. IN THEIR PLACE SHOULD BE THE BROWNS. MY BAD. VOTE ACCORDINGLY. WELCOME TO TGG NFL SEASON!! Ever other day I will make a new thread discussing a different division. Along with the thread I will also have a poll of the division asking for who you think will be it's champion. Unlike most polls this won't be (hopefully) a vote and leave type thread. The actual division and it's teams are to be discussed and debated as if there was no poll at all. After all the divisions are talked about 2 Wild Card threads will be made. This will give us our 12 teams. Then we will proceed to playoff threads. In a nutshell, we will go through an entire NFL season and postseason with tough discussion and debate and end up with a reasoned through TGG playoff bracket and SB champ. Pretty much a very very thorough version of "who will win the SB" type thread. Now, the AFC Nort: Bengals- Took the division from the SB Champions Steelers. They have shown they have one of the most explosive offenses in the league and pretty great trio unit in Palmer, Chad, and Rudi. Palmers injury and recovery seems to be the biggest thing swinging over the Bengals heads. When it drops, it might simply be a water balloon or it could be an axe to Cincy's season. Steelers- SB Champions. Though some question their title, no one can question that they are one of the best teams in the league. Some losses look to effect the team, which seems to be losing a starting WR a year. More play is going to be demanded from QB Ben Roethlisberger, who sufured a motorcycle accident before training camp. They've also switch transportation after Jerome "the Bus" Bettis retired. Many hits to this team, but are they enough to bring them down? Ravens- Probably the sleeper pick to win the division. Their defense was hyped to be one of the best ever last year and it fell very short of that. Cut them some slack though becuase the injury bug really bit down hard on that defense taking out it's two greatest superstars Ray Lewis and Ed Reed, both who look healthy and ready to play. If this defense stays healthy their in no question it can carry this team. Question lies on the offensive side. The Ravens now have 2 starter-caliber RBs, no matter how disappointing Jamal Lewis was last season. WR Bennet has been reunited with his QB Steve McNair. Like all teams in this division the QB is a question. Unlike Ben and Carson, Steve has a terrifing illness. It's age. However Age has been known to show up some weeks and be gone others. This team is a total wild card. Browns- Strong FA. Too bad their all getting hurt. QB Frye doens't inspirse much confidence. However young is always a good word to use to describe a team.
No one ever comes in hear anyways. It all about NY JET and BULLSHIT. So what if I enjoy another forum.
Why would anyone come and read your posts, you don't even know who is in the AFC North. :rofl2: You'd think "Texans" and "North" would set some alarms off in your head...
Hey Mexican Buc, Can you give us all the rest of the NFLs re-alignment changes. I was in boot camp and I never got the news that the NFL switched....
I'm an idiot. I was looking at the little symbols on the top of NFL.com and they had the Texans logo right next to the Steelers, so I thought same division. Boy I feel dumb. Let me fix that.
Bengals have a rough schedule but their talent with Palmer healthy is better than the Steelers in their prime at the end of last year. If Palmer wouldn't have gone down, the SB champs would have been the Seahawks over the Bengals/Broncos
But I voted for the texans, you cant go ahead and change that into the browns now. I didnt vote for the browns, I voted for the TEXANS!!!!
