I find the anti-Cimini gang mentality around here to be hilarious. He's a darksider, sure, but I actually think he's a Jets fan to some extent. You almost have to be after being being a beat writer for them so long. As for this dropped pass gaffe, I'm sure he'll get called out on twitter, we'll see what happens, I'm sure he had some kind of source, doubt he made it up.

Any of these figures in the media that get tons of attention do so because of the outlandish things they say and write. Jim Rome, Skip Bayless, COlin Cowherd, Cimini is no different. And why do people pay attention to stuff like this in week 3? Small sample size.

There's no way somebody who's been around the beat as long as Cimini has should get repeatedly outshined by a noob like Mehta, but it happens week in, week out.
