So much for wanting an 'easy win', unless you like CBS dropping the 4th QTR of our beloved Jets game for the fn Bills/Raiders game. I can see why CBS would drop a blowout game for a more competitive game, but AT LEAST come back to the Jet game on and off for highlights! /bitch'in
I got news for, it was boring. We turned it off here and went to the other games before the network did. Once brunell came in there was nothing to see.
NY market will never drop the game. Get Sunday ticket or watch streaming on-line, like I did. I had a great link and saw the entire game.
They didnt drop it for me with cablevison. That said the end of Bills/Raiders was far more exciting than watching brunell/mcknight go 3 and out twice and a row
Yeah, let's keep watching the blowout game with backups coming in over that exciting Bills-Raiders game, with only 5 lead changes in the fourth quarter...
I agree, once brunell came in, there really was nothing to see. I still finished it but I'm just saying lol
At the time I was very pissed, okay,,,, really pissed, Yet, I must admit the Bills Raiders finish was damn good football and a nail bitter to the end
Well if we get cut off by the network because we are blowing out a team it is good. We should be blowing some teams out if we are legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Of course games like the one last week are all very exciting, but honestly I can't take 16 weeks of that. I'd rather we blow someone out and get cut off by the networks then have to panic every week and us to win only on the last play of the game or something.
CBS actually dropped the last 30 seconds of the Raiders/Bills game here to go to the SD/Pats pre-game.
OK...I feel better now...a bit. I took my daughter to a Jets bar for her first 'taste' of football so when they switched out of the Jets game I was livid. I would loved to have seen the post game celebrations, hand shakes, interviews, etc. But must admit a handful of Bill's fans going absolutely ape shit smoothed over my rough edges just a bit.
I had both on, you all missed nothing. Jets streaming, Bills were the cable company special. Oakland is too close to Las Vegas for my comfort. It's all about those stream sites.
I also have Sunday Ticket, but since the game was being broadcasted on my local channels, Sunday Ticket didn't carry it. They switched it to the Bills/Raiders game too. Not that it pissed me off. There were a couple of punts after the switch anyways without any highlight plays.
Yeah, sometimes there's a lag for Sunday Ticket to pick it up in a local market. I was ready to be pissed, but it was there even before CBS kicked out.
i was blacked out from sunday ticket on my ps3....but funny enough, when they switched to the bills/raiders game on regular TV, they removed the blackout from sunday ticket.
