I think a lot has to do with Rex schemes which with a Ed Reed type are unplayable...withoiut it they leave alot for the lb to cover ...what we need is that ballhawk Safety...until we find it we will have these issues as many teams do. Safety is becoming a position in the NFL that is heglected and the two TE set is the latest fad until someone designs a way to stop it reguarly

Sorry mate, alot of IF and BUTS, we can only go on what actually happened. Bryant whilst a good player, also has the potential to go one of two ways, pre-Madonna or great player, and he has to learn to play for 60 minutes and not turn up when he likes.
What if Sanchez hurls a 50 yard TD?

Bryant got his injury during a punt return in the first quarter. In the first half of the 1st quarter he had 3 catches for 70+ yards, and nothing after that.

They also switched the coverage. Revis had him after the first quarter.

Marcedes Lewis won't play. So no horrible matchup for our LB's.

I don't doubt that guys like Gates and Clark are ahead of Gronk as a receiver, but on the other hand, neither of them can block as well as the Gronk AND only Gates compares as a red zone target. Just look at what he's accomplished thus far and still hasn't hit his upside.

Gates doesn't compare to anyone including Gronk the Great.

    Everyone else compares to him.
