Barnwell is extremely anti-New York. His transparent bias discredits a lot of his writing. His NFL preview will also look awful once the season's over.
That was retarded play calling though. Instead of running the ball they had him throw twice when he shoudlve of. What the pats fan said was wrong, but in a way, it could have been disaterous.
A lot of our playcalling was extremely suspect last night. My buddy who's a Jags fan was even like, "Why is your coordinator still throwing the fucking ball right there?" Classic Schottenheimer. With that said, I did like the general idea of the game plan, we were attacking the whole game. I just hated the de-emphasis of the running game.
A legacy team like the Cowboys/ Lets hope not! One (countem One) playoff win in 14 years. All the cowboys fans seem to gloss over that fact. Lam
Agreed. Found it amazing that there are still 1990's Cowboys front runner leftovers floating around, espeically in the NY/NJ area.
I'm only going by what I hear. Not saying I agree with it, but once again I'm just pointing out which teams the NFL and every other NFL writer will discuss about & defend. But still, you are correct Lam. one playoff win in 14 years is a real example of how pathetic they are.
I guess one win to start the season will make every Bills fan giddy after more than 20 years of being horrible.
did you read the NY Post today about how Sanchez audibled into that last pass on 3rd down right before the game winning field goal? Schotty called a run of course to run out clock and be careful. Sanchez audibled and threw an incomplete pass. It just proves that we might not know everything thats goin on when we're sittin on our couches
 WHAT!? your suggesting our inconsistent 3rd year QB shouldnt be our OC!? HOW DARE YOU!!!!! RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE FUCK SCHOTTY!!!
That pass was only incomplete because Plax dropped it, it hit him right in the hands. If he had made the catch it would have been 1st & goal @ the 10yd line.
Thats hardly the point. The point is Ive heard a bunch of people, including myself at the time the play happened, ask " wtf is Schotty thinkin by passing there". Imagine if Sanchez got picked off there? The board, mostly uneducated would be ready to drive to Jersey and murder Schotty. The point is, idiots sitting on the couch, myself included dont know a fraction of whats goin on on the filed and behind the scenes. Perhaps, some of th elimits to Schottys playcalling and strategies are limits put on him by Sanchez's ability. I knoe, I know, I must be crazy.
Impossible, Sanchez is infallible. Seriously though, people need to realize that we DONT KNOW everything that is going on, and that every problem does not weigh on the Offensive coordinator. Im sick of this sentiment. Schotty knows what he is doing, does he make questionable calls? YES. Every OC does. I mentioned in the Schotty thread, name me somebody better than schotty in this league. Who besides Peyton Manning would you take over Schotty as an OC. Even Peyton as an offensive minded genius would have a difficult time with a third year QB like Sanchez. This guy is still very much developing. Stop looking for a scapegoat when we have a young developing quarterback.
