The HB screen was a HUGE play for us this past weekend. Tomlinson can still move, he's a leader and shows he can still be very productive member of this offense. With teams blitzing as much as they do and a relatively quick back in Tomlinson, perhaps we will be seeing the HB screen used a lot this year.

Tomlinson looked fast against linebackers and defensive linemen. He made Sanchez job look easy picking up multiple first downs. I am not sure who is officially calling (all of) the plays on offense, but on Sunday night IMO Tomlinson was used perfectly.

If Sunday is any indication of what to expect this year Greene seems to be the feature back, and Tomlinson used for the spread offense and 3rd down. Keeping Tomlinson fresh and letting him get out into the open field could make him a very dynamic third down back for us. I have always loved his leadership and nose for the first down marker.

CAN'T WAIT for Sunday... Go Jets!!

Yeah Tomlinson looked great out there. Picked up some vital yards after catch, especially that third and 8 play where he would have gained 6 yards if he hadn't put a power move on the defender, gaining him an extra 2-3 yards.

Sanchez looks to be improved at throwing that pass, it's something he's been inconsistent with in the past.

Yeah that pass was a beauty. Sanchez sold it pretty good. He waited till the last nano second to throw the ball. I was thinking to myself that the screen was set up, and why isn't Sanchez throwing yet. Those couple of seconds felt like an eternity.

Ditto. It was perfectly executed but very stressful to watch at the stadium...

He completed two successful screens on Sunday night which I think is two more than the rest of his career. I was glad to see he had been improving on the little things like that. Now if he could learn to throw a bubble screen it would be good too.

Yeah he rushes his bubble screens and they're off target.

The day a CB jumps that its going to net the opposition 6 pts.

He's gotta realize he does have an extra .4 seconds to set and throw that pass.

That play was awesome. we had brick, mangold, and i forgot the 3rd offensive linemen with LT too. One of them got a block, but LT just blew past everybody.
