With continuity being the theme, our success boils down to one thing: Which Jet team is the constant? Is it 1) The team that showed up for the first 55 minutes in games against the Broncos, Lions, Browns, Texans, and the first half of the Steeler game, or is it 2) The team that showed up when it mattered most. The 2010 Jet team was at its best when the moment mattered most. They fell with an emotional letdown from the Patriot game carry over. If this team can consistently play at its best, not suffer major injuries at positions lacking depth, and get the expected jump from Sanchez - we're going to be tough for anyone to beat. Very excited about this season's promise! go j-e-t-s!
The core determinant of 2011/12 success is Mark Sanchez. We know the D and run game will be good, he is the X factor. Whoops. I took the OP seriously.
From a legal standpoint, the core determinant will be whether the Jets' point total is higher than the opposing team's at the conclusion of the game
Oh, you must be a joy in court! Success = 2 things. High number of pass attempts with Sanchez holding ball less than 4 seconds, and remaining over 60%
The core determinant of our success will be how we contain the Gronkowski family, Kerry Collins and the defensive line of the Buffalo Bills.
