Yea, I was mainly surprised that Vincent Jackson lasted so long. After getting Andre Johnson and Fitz with my first 2 picks, I planned to go RB for round 3 and 4, but Vincent Jackson and Rivers were just too good to pass up.

Had one of my two drafts today, this one being a PPR with 14 teams. I'm kind of mixed on how it turned out, with RB possibly being a big weakness depending on Ingram's performance.

    QB: Philip Rivers
    RB: Shonn Greene
    RB: Mark Ingram
    WR: Mike Williams (TB)
    WR: Jeremy Maclin
    TE: Dallas Clark
    W/R/T: Mike Sims-Walker
    K: Billy Cundiff
    DEF: Chicago

    Bench-

    QB: Colt McCoy
    RB: Roy Helu
    RB: Jerome Harrison
    WR: Greg Little
    TE: Rob Gronkowski
    DEF: Houston

Chose Mike Williams over Dez Bryant. Curious to see what people think: good/bad?

Helu as my third RB was kind of a panic pick since Woodhead was scooped up unexpectedly (based on Yahoo's rankings) one pick ahead of me. Needing a RB and with few good ones available then, he seemed like the best bet. Although if Jahvid Best gets dinged up again, Harrison might pan out.

just did a draft on NFL.com. I dunno if I was paired with idiots, or if everyone is retarded over there, but I'm winning this league no doubt. Kickers drafted in the 4th round, defenses in the 3rd, Tom brady went #2 overall. I got AP at 3 (first RB drafted) Arian Foster went two picks in front of me, in round 2! 4 qbs in the top 6 picks (Rodgers, Brady, Vick, Brees) 7 receivers drafted before I took Roddy White in the end of the 2nd. Other random reaches, like Josh Freeman drafted in the 4th round. I dunno it was crazy to watch.

    12 team league btw

So anyways my team with round drafted in ()

    QB Phillip Rivers (4)
    RB Adrian Peterson (1)
    RB Frank Gore (3)
    WR Roddy White (2)
    WR Vincent Jackson (5)
    WR/RB Santonio Holmes (7)
    TE Jermichael Finely (6)
    K Neil Rackers (15)
    DEF New England (11)

    Bench RB Knowshon Moreno (8)
    Bench RB Ryan Matthews (10)
    Bench WR Steve Johnson (9)
Bench WR Steve Smith (Car) (13)
    Bench TE Jimmy Graham (12)
    Bench QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (14)

everytime I was about to draft, I was laughing at who was available at each of these rounds... I was in shock. Christ Dez Bryant who I almost took over Steve Johnson in the 9th, went in the early 11 two picks before I took Jimmy Graham. Can't wait to destroy people in this league.

I'm struggling to figure out who you took in the first 2 rounds, which is never good. RBs are weak, particular in PPR. Both have upside, but even their upside doesn't really involve catching passes.

Gronkowski is a good backup tight end, but there's no reason why you should have a backup tight end. Or backup defense really. Even backup QB with Rivers, especially if it's Colt McCoy, isn't really necessary when you can stash some backup RBs and hope for injuries.

This is the first draft I think I have ever been proud of. Usually, I feel like I am considerably weak in one spot, but not with this one.
10 Team Snake picking from the 10th spot, Non-PPR, 4pt Passing TDs, 3 Value Keepers, 1 Flex.

    QB Matt Schaub, Kevin Kolb
RB Jamaal Charles (5th round keeper), Matt Forte (8th round keeper), LeGarrette Blount (17th round keeper), Tim Hightower, Thomas Jones, Ben Tate
WR Hakeem Nicks, Mike Wallace, Percy Harvin, Brandon Gibson
    TE Antonio Gates, Brandon Pettigrew
    D/ST Cowboys, Chiefs
    K Sebastian Janikowski

Picking at the 10th spot in a snake can be hard in the later rounds as it is tough to judge how long someone like Pierre Thomas or Thomas Jones will hang around when there are 18 picks before your next one.

Just so I understand it, your league has 3 keepers and they take up the pick you first used on them. So you did not have a 5th, 8th or 17th round pick this year. But kept Charles, forte, blount instead.

I think you had a great draft there. Did you win the league last year?

This is my 10 teamer PPR league (.5 per reception, .2 per rush).most agree i have the best team

    QB- Josh Freeman
    RB- Jamaal Charles
    RB- Felix Jones
    WR- larry fitzgerald
    WR - greg jennings
    WR/RB - marques colston
    TE - Antonio Gates
    K - Nate Kaeding
D/ST - Bears (in this scoring format, they were #3 scoring D last year)

    bench:
    - Ryan Grant
    - CJ spiller
    - Pierre Thomas
    - Crabtree
    - Steve Smith
    - Mark sanchez

14 teamer PPR with very similar scoring above ( I got fucked with the manning injury now). no one has a beast team in this format and most people know what they're doing. THe later rounds were entirely handcuff picks for everybody.

    QB: Matt Ryan
    RB: Adrian Peterson
    RB: Deangelo Williams
    WR: Reggie Wayne
    WR: Anquan Boldin
    WR: Braylon Edwards
    TE: Dallas Clark
    K: Cundiff
    D/ST: Bears

    bench/handcuff depot
    - Davonee Bess
    - Johnny knox
    - Rob Gronkowsi
    - Ben Tate
    - Montario Hardesty
    - Colt mccoy
