so another forum i go visit uses a rep system on their boards. pretty much if you like a post you give the poster some rep and they get a green bar under their name. you get red bars if people dislike your posts. you can get like 10 red or green bars and i think they take a pretty good while to build up. the system also does not allow you to dislike or like a certain posters posts consecutively so it would be impossible to troll a poster in order to get his reputation down. so maybe it could be worked out that if someone gets like 5 red bars or whatever a mod can review any new thread made by that poster before it goes onto the board. i have no idea if this is possible, but i do know the board i am talking about uses the same type of template that tgg uses. it would also probably create more work for the mods, but it would be nice to not even have to see some of the turds we have been getting in the bs forum.

Mods: How about banning posters like section134 when they start the kind of idiotic shit threads he started this morning? That could be a deterrent for future morons.....
Id like to think the cesspool could counter the idiots posting threads. I initially set it up 2 years ago with the intent of banning posters with repeated offenses. It's way too subjective though on an offense hardly worthy of a ban unless it's obvious trolling.
I'm kinda new here but I have to say most the crap posts u can tell just by reading the header, thought there are exceptions...
Things to ignore - 1. Anything with the word Patriots or the name of a member of the patriots. 2. Anything Posted by Maimipuck. 3. Anything not related to the Jets. 4. Anything Posted by Miamipuck. That's a good start i think.
Things to laugh at: 1. Malakail committing suicide 2. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia 3. Malakail's dead body
Unfortunately i normally like the thing Mr. E posts....But I have to say if u made him a mod... most people would be perma banned.
