I'm in an office pool and I could use some help. All picks are straight up. One pick is a key pick, which can be used once in the season and is worth double.

    Thanks

    GREEN BAY over New Orleans
    Atlanta over CHICAGO
    TAMPA BAY over Detroit
    Philadelphia over ST. LOUIS
    CLEVELAND over Cincinnati
    JACKSONVILLE over Tennessee
    BALTIMORE over Pittsburgh
    *KANSAS CITY over Buffalo
    Indianapolis over HOUSTON
    ARIZONA over Carolina
    WASHINGTON over NY Giants
    Seattle over SAN FRANCISCO
    SAN DIEGO over Minnesota
    NY JETS over Dallas
    New England over MIAMI
    Oakland over DENVER

Picking games straight up is mostly a crap shoot. When in doubt pick the home team or the team with the better record.

are you using KC over Buffalo as your seasons key pick (assumption based on the *)? because I would avoid that like the plague as your season long pick. Wait a few weeks to figure out who is really really bad. And wait till they play a great non division team, like say GB over San fran later in the season. Or maybe like SD over Carolina or something like that.

Key Pick changes every week, but you can only use a team once.

Week one is a crap shoot for sure. I don;t want to just take favorites or home teams, since there will be several people doing that. I was asking for someone to look at my picks and evaluate them for this week.

Presuming your picks are the ones in capitals, I'd call the Baltimore, Tampa and New England games differently to you.

Home teams in CAPS, my picks are on the left.

Then I'd personally disagree with you on the Baltimore, Tampa and Indianapolis picks.

Any thoughts on the key pick?

Call me crazy, but I like St. Louis over the Iigles.

    Also, Houston over Indy
    San Fran over Seattle
    Denver over Oakland

As far as the "key pick", the game itself is probably a coin flip, but the Pond may be the most difficult place to play for opposing teams. One of the NFLs best home field advantages. Oh, and Cassel is practicing fully.
