Well, it sounded too good to be true. This fella sure didn't have enough info for me to sign up, that's for sure. You'll excuse me if I don't retract my Dolan statement.... I can't stand them. Remember when they wounldn't let the news 12 people wear a US flag pin after 9-11? The WSS? The modem service gets very shaky at times. Satelloite may be the future, but it's far away from being a viable 2 way comm platform.
I think NFL radio will be at jets camp in the afternoon of August 31st. Tune into the afternoon blitz (I think that is the name of the show)
Keep this in mind... (and no, I do not work for a cable company, I'm just trying to help out with facts. I subscribe to DirecTV, OptimumOnline and OptimumVoice, and I hate cablevision, but they have the best services). 1) It won't save your 75 bucks. Verizon will have to hit you with taxes/etc cutting into your savings, but not too much 2) DSL is DRASTICALLY slower than OPTIMUMONLINE. We're talking 3-5 times slower, and I am not exaggerating. Now if you can get FIOS from Verizon, you'll be on par with OptimumOnline (still slower, but much closer) but they'll charge big for that. I pay $160 for all 3 services, and that's primarily because I have 4 receivers, HBO and the BabyFirst channel on DirecTV. My phone/internet is 84.90 a month, and t hat's unlimited calling/voice mail/etc etc along with 15 mbit/sec OptimumOnline.
