after watching that season review and the plays Braylon made and the toughness he showed out on the field im sad he is gone as well. Im hoping Plaxico does well, but he is 34, Braylon had years in front of him.

Braylon was tough for us sure, but in this video he was playing against his former team.

I'm sure plaxico will come out fired up against the giants on 12/24.

I think it is possible that we take a look at free agent Braylon at the end of the season. Of course, there are a bunch of "ifs" to consider. If he behaves himself this year. If he's a productive player for the Niners. If we don't re-sign Plax. If he's affordable.

Braylon is a greedy fuck who cared more about being ridiculously overpaid than playing for the Jets. He could give two shits about this organization, period.

You guys need to move on and realize that 34-year-old, post-jail Plax at 80% will be just as valuable to this team as Braylon. And if he plays like he did pre-jail, forget about it. It would be the steal of the off-season.

Braylon was fun to watch. I liked his style of play more than Holmes though Holmes is probably the more wise decision.

well he wasnt going to come back here on the cheap after the jets gave holmes the $. he had more pride(i guess thats the word) than that.

also i guess he was an asshole. he did say a bunch of dumb shit about sanchez in the middle of last years season that pissed me off. i would of rather have him back, but after hearing him, and buddies stab people with forks at a bar... jets made the right choice.

Braylon is just too much of a ticking time bomb with the off the field stuff.

Agreed...I think the Jets really watched him off the field last season (especially after the DUI) and this off season and saw too many red flags to give him an extended contract. Doubt we will re-visit next year.

I don't know why I guess but Plax doesn't seem like he's be as strong.
