Our league will be good looking forward to it. My cockiness is attributed to my two money leagues outside of TGG. I'm 2x defending champion and going into the leagues with my swag cranked to max
Money league. Delone Carter my sleeper pick in an otherwise worthless 16th round. Mike Sims-Walker, couldn't believe he was still there that late. Ridgehikers 1. (8) Andre Johnson (Hou - WR) 2. (13) Michael Turner (Atl - RB) 3. (28) Matt Ryan (Atl - QB) 4. (33) Steven Jackson (StL - RB) 5. (48) Sidney Rice (Sea - WR) 6. (53) New York (NYJ - DEF) 7. (68) Julio Jones (Atl - WR) 8. 10 team, non ppr, int = -2, .2 3 and out, picked 6th money league, done offline 1 Aaron Rodgers 2 Michael Turner 3 Mike Wallace 4 Legarrette Blount 5 Ahmad Bradshaw 6 Santonio Holmes 7 Brandon Marshall 8 DeAngelo Williams 9 Kellen Winslow 10 Mike Thomas 11 San Diego D/ST 12 Ryan Williams (fuck) 13 Kevin kolb 14 Giant D/ST 15 Rashad Jennings already dropped Williams and picked up Folk, and then traded Jennings for Percy Harvin to an idiot
Why do people do Yahoo mocks? I understand the league on there, but ESPN mocks or fantasyfootballcalculator mocks are both better and faster.
It's good to have a feel for if you're doing a league on Yahoo but I mostly use fantasyfootballcalculator for practicing my draft strategies.
Drafted nfl.com for my big money league, 12 teams qb/2rb/2wr/flex: Tony Romo QB - DAL Ray Rice RB - BAL Shonn Greene RB - NYJ Beanie Wells RB - ARI Dez Bryant WR - DAL Mike Wallace WR - PIT Owen Daniels TE - HOU Detroit Lions DEF/ST Stephen Gostkowski K - NWE ------------------------------ BN Roy Helu RB - WAS BN Mark Ingram RB - NO BN Rashad Jennings RB - JAC BN Davone Bess WR - MIA BN A.J. I think a backup QB might have been a better option at 12 than Roy Helu. You must be really impressed with Helu to even draft him. Hightower and Torain have Washington's top spots secured. What value could Helu have?
Had my leagues draft last night. What team do you guys think had the best draft? I'll post top 6 IMO. I think it's either between The Rexecutioners (myself) and The Playmakers, if their rb's can produce he has by far the top team. 10 team, PPR. RB/WR Flex. I think you have the best team, but Playmakers could definitely be dangerous. Blount could be real good this year, but Playmakers is too thin at RB to be consistently good I think.
I don't know but everyone seems to be high on the guy so I took a flyer on him. Luckily, right after I grabbed him someone in the league asked me what I want in a trade for him.
I really like TSprings Packers as well, has two first round grade rbs, two top wrs, a good qb, and some boom or bust options on the bench, if one of them has a good enough year to take the slot, or if Maclin is healthy he could be dangerous Playmakers are really going to be tough if either Bush or Lynch have a big year Your team is good too, love the rbs, but personally I like to draft players with upside on my bench hoping someone reaches their potential and helps me during the year and isn't just an average to above average guy who can spot start
Oh yea, his team is actually real good too. After seeing the other 2 I didn't imagine there was another team that good. This is really a 12 team league? I can't imagine getting any of those 3 teams in my competitive money league.
12 Team money league, 2nd pick, snake draft, .25 PPR is the only odd rule. Player (Round Drafted) Starters QB- Eli Manning (7) RB - Arian Foster (1), Rashard Mendenhall (2) RB/WR - Steven Jackson (3) WR - Stevie Johnson (4), Wes Welker (5), Mike Williams (6) TE - Brandon Pettigrew (11) K - Jay Feely(17) DST - Giants(12) Bench QB - Kyle Orton (14) WR - Santana Moss (8), James Jones (11) RB - Thomas Jones(9), James Stark (10), Ben Tate(15), Cadillac Williams(16)
Really like you Mendenhall in the 2nd, Mendenhall at 23 means that 10 guys in your league (picks 3-12) are dumb Also really like Williams in the 6th, and the late flier on Cadilac think you went a little early on Santana Moss and Thomas Jones and if Orton plays like he did last year, with your rbs you should be set
I was shocked to see Mendenhall slipping like that. There was a huge run on WRs and 4 QBs went in the 2nd round, which was perfectly fine with me, as is evident by me stocking up on 3 RBs that early. The only reason I jumped Moss and Jones like that was due to bye weeks fucking me. There were a handful of better recievers and backs available at those two spots, but I already had 2 RBs out week 11, and 2 WRs out week 7, so I needed guys to fill in there in order to avoid rolling over for 2 games. I'm happy with my late fliers on both Ben Tate and Cadillac. Both have looked good in the preseason, and they both also happen to be handcuffs for my starters. That's a win-win for me.
I'm very big on drafting value, my draft is a few above (only 10 team though) but in the situation that you can't go bpa because of byes I'd just delay it a round, probably could have grabbed a decent TE or a Top D/ST depending on your board and then let the other guys draft the better options for a round and try to get Moss the next one but as I mentioned before, thats a really nice draft
