Let's see if either of these guys make their respective teams first...

I agree, Ducasse will give up a sack before either of these guys get one.

That's not fair! he's just developing. And besides IMO you can count the 3 he gave up on Monday and declare him the winner!

I think Ghost in a 4-3 set might not be entirely worthless. Plus I've not heard anything bad about his work ethic, just his soft serve personality. Maybin doesn't seem to take this job too seriously.

We've seen Ghost in a 4-3 set. The Jets run several packages with 4 man fronts. If Ghost manages to finally get a sack, it'll be because he finally learned a pass-rushing move.

As for the OP's question: I'll say Ghost, because he's at least in shape.

Well, that's too easy. Obviously he'll give up a sack.

Maybin vs. Ghost is a difficult one, though.

Gholston's problem is that he has a football IQ measurable in single digits. He has zero pass rushing moves or awareness of what's going on during the play at any given time.

I haven't seen Maybin too much, but by all accounts he's sized out of his respective position and has somewhat of a work ethic problem.

I voted for Maybin, simply because he could probably be halfway decent if implemented in the right scheme/situation. Players like him can be coached up; Gholston will never be successful regardless of where he goes simply due to his lack of football instincts.

Even though Rex says they got Maybin to rush the QB I think he is better suited to cover the opposing running backs out of the backfield - hes got the speed to do just that and that is what consistantly burns the Jets. Maybe he can cover tight ends also? Gholston could'nt do either of those two jobs. Can Maybin cover backs and or tight ends?

I say Maybin...if he makes the team. Our unorthodox blitzes leave a lot of guys with unimpeded shots at the QB. Coleman got sacks and sometimes went untouched. As long as Maybin can run in a straight line, he may be the close favorite lol. Gholston may actually have to work for his sack. *pause*

The first game where the Jets and Bears are playing at the same they're both gonna get a sack at the same exact time.

I also think Maybin but this really depends on which one gets playing time, if either.

Decent chance both guys will be cut.
