I have a good feeling that he'll be that team's fourth receiver.

    Actually, that's not a feeling. It's a fact.

This is true, :steelers: Nevertheless Cotchery has good hands and big play capabilities. I am not worried in the long run.

Meaningless until you know the contract details.

He was upset about not being in the top 2 here, yet he goes there?

ya how stupid is this. he wants to be a bigger part of the offense and he goes to the steelers where at BEST he would be 3rd WR.

The Steelers have injury concerns about Hines Ward and Emmanuel Sanders. Mike Wallace is pretty much the top dog now, but that only leaves Antonio Brown as the other receiver if Ward and Sanders are hurt.

Considering he had the choice between Roethlisberger and Flacco as quarterback, I think he made the right choice. Picked a team that was in the Super Bowl last year.

I think it's a solid signing for the Steelers. Roethlisberger wanted a tall receiver to throw to.

Not to mention the Steelers spread the ball around quite a bit. He'll get his touches in this offense.

The Ravens had no intention of offering him a contract, Schefter said this morning, so how do you figure he had any choice at all? I think when the details of his contract are released that will be obvious.

I heard several sources here in Pittsburgh say otherwise. But I will take that with a grain of salt.

Regardless I think it's a solid depth signing.

he is 6 feet tall, not exactly a tall receiver.

It's a very smart signing for the Steelers. You guys got yourself a good rotational wide receiver. It's an absolutely terrible signing for Cotchery.

Cotchery has no business acumen, whatsoever. When he was a Jet, when he re-signed for substantially less money then he could have, when he played through and exacerbated injuries in meaningless games, when he did nothing to promote his marketability or value... all that shit was endearing as hell. But then he decided to force his release at one of the lowest points in his career, coming off a serious injury and a terrible season.

Now it doesn't seem so endearing; it just seems foolish.

Some of the local media idiots need to get their facts right. Heard the radio guys saying he was 6'1". That will teach me to rely on them for facts.

He's still one of the taller receivers the Steelers have LOL

With the Steelers, he can show the Coaching Staff now, what he can do, and take over Ward´s Role next Season.

If he's taking over Ward's role next year that's because Ward retired after a Steeler Super Bowl Victory. Needless to say I hope you are right.

I think J-Co will work out pretty nicely for the Steelers. True worth is in the details of the contract for each though. This guy can be absolutely clutch when you need it though. I'm gonna miss having him on the roster.

Steelers got themselves a great receiver. In the long run he will make a great replacement for Ward.

What pisses me off is that he's going there to be a backup. He could have stayed HERE as a backup. Both Rex and Mark asked him to stay. I guess him and Braylon got the same treatment. Sign here for this money and this spot in the rotation, or we're looking for someone else.

    Hello Plax and Mason.
