"They" say he is a good blocker and will help the running game.

    And pretty cheap.

TE Keith Zinger's 1-year deal with the #Jets is for $450,000, per source. #nyj

Zinger was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft (232 overall)[3] and signed to a four-year contract.[4] He was released on the final cuts[5] but was added to the practice squad [6] and spent the entire season there.

Where's CodeGreen? Zinger's a former LSU player. I'd like to hear his opinion on this guy.

Looking at his college stats, this guy's obviously not much of a receiving threat. He'll be a blocking tight end. ...hopefully filling Hartsock's role at a cheaper price.

All they had to to do was add this freakin Zinger's salary to what they offered Ellis and he'd still be wearing green.

    stop with the asinine bellyaching.

This FO knows what they're doing. 2 straight AFCCGs in a row (one with a rookie QB).

Pick Analysis: Zinger had a solid workout at LSU's Pro Day. He's a prototypical blocking tight end who is not much of a weapon in the passing game. Zinger's not fleet of foot.

    - Overview Analysis Discuss Overview

A blocking specialist with marginal ability as a receiving threat, Zinger struggled to generate much of an impact in the passing game throughout his career at LSU. In fact, over his final two seasons with the Tigers, Zinger caught just three combined passes. Injuries and illness (staph infection) robbed Zinger of much of his 2006 season, and he was granted an extra year of eligibility.

    Obviously, nobody is perfect.

But the way you've been over the last few weeks, you'd think Bradway was still calling the shots.

It's annoying and most of all, not accurate.

@#28Martin This...seriously. It's becoming apparent that you're either a neurotic worrier, a thinly veiled troll or a woman prone to hystrionics.

We can do without all 3.
