You're confusing Michael Clayton with Mark. Mark was on the rams, and was formerly on the ravens. Now he signed with the Giants.

Michael clayton was on the bucs, and then signed with the giants after Steve smith went down. now he's unemployed. and he sucks

Truth be told, i'd seriously consider talking to Moss about unretiring or TO depending on his recovery schedule.

Moss or T.O. as you stated and call it a day, Moss would be a perfect fit for this team.

Because we definitely need 3 Wideouts who are gonna cry for the ball all of the time. Especially when two of the WR's are old and aren't sure things.

If I'm gonna have two wideouts who aren't proven at this point of their careers, I'd rather just have Kerley playing the slot to make long term progress with the team and build a bond with Sanchez. People really need to just drop the whole Moss thing, it's played out and not gonna happen, get over it.

At this rate we may have to look to the sidelines and suit up Isaac Bruce.

As of yesterday they said two teams have contacted Moss and he plans to stay retired. They didn't say who those teams were.

You guys are crying about a #3 WR on a run first team SMH. I agree we need to sign someone else in case of injuries. But come on, lets not act like no one is good enough to play on our team lol

If you listen to Ryan it doesn't sound like we will be a run first team anymore.

Still think its a good idea to try. Make him cuttable after this year if he doesnt work out...

let him recover the first few months, and then let him slide into the slot. I would be shocked if Plax works out/stays healthy all year. I think he moves on after this year. Smith could then slide right in as the #2 option next year if healthy and then Kerley will definately be prepped to take over in the slot.

It does not hurt to kick the tires on the guy who had 107 receptions two years ago. Especially since he would come reasonably cheap due to the injury

Im perfectly content letting the guys we have under contract still fight it out.

Totally agree and we have the CAP space still available.

Even if we go just with our guys and have Kerley start #3 game 1 I still would like the idea of Smith being signed. Let him get healthy and be an insurance policy. He would be our #2 next year and after or trade him when health and get a pick or other player. Win, Win!

Courtney Smith, Patrick Turner, and Plaxico Burress should be our starting 3, because they're all really tall and that's how the chargers win games.

I don't know how you can look at any of those guys past Kerley and say you're comfortable with our receiving corps.

Patrick Turner UFA New York Jets "Free Agent"

I see him on the list and likes his potential, but the Jets must not see any, because he wasn't resigned yet.

I don't see any info on the Jets resigning him.

Rotoworld did post his last contract as
    2011: $480,000, 2012: Restricted Free Agent

Logan Payne, Patrick Turner and Courtney Smith all have a chance to be either 4 if we don't sign Mason. Scotty McKnight's probably going to be a 5 since he'll probably lock into a special teams spot.

Turner had that nice out route he ran during the Miami game for a 19 yard gainer then disappeared after that.

Payne apparently has great chemistry with Sanchez.

Courtney Smith "looks" like a wide receiver, but when I saw him in camp he was getting jammed at the LOS real badly. Couldn't get off his man/

I am intrigued by Turner as well ... second year in the system, and familiar with Mark from his USC days.

I do hope that Mason decides to sign with the Jets however.

It has nothing to do with being on a run first team, what happens if the D is blowing the game for us, can we count on this offense to win. You have to look at teams like the Pats, Indy, Saints etc....if we can not keep them below 25 points we might not win. Mark has been up and down since coming into the NFL, is he going to make that big jump and become Rodgers or is he going to remain up and down.

Granted there are alot of factors to this, Shitty has to call a better game but Mark also needs to make the throws. I would rather make Kerley number 4 on the depth chart and go out and get another wideout. Ground and pound will only take you so far, eventually we will have to air it out.

No they'll aim to have the highly efficient ground game they always have, but since Sanchez is progressing well they'll try to air it out more.

They'll have the same balance as last year, but they think the kid can handle a bigger load in the passing game.

Rex wants to loosen up coverages to make running the ball even easier.

Because we really don't run 4 or 5 WR formations, & from whats been coming out of training camp a lot of these unknowns seems to be doing ok. I wouldn't mind someone to come in but theres really no one really worth it right now out there anymore. If anything I'd wait till some cuts get made from other teams. Theres still a few teams out there over the salary cap.
